A Darlinghurst favourite serving hearty soups which are most welcome in the colder months. They also have other dishes including a salad bar. Nothing flash, but it is a friendly, warm environment with friendly staff.

A very popular Thai restaurant - always busy and it's best to arrive early to ensure that you get a seat. There are always lots of people waiting for tables or take-aways as well, which puts you under a bit of pressure. Notwithstanding this, the food is great and you'll enjoy your meal. Authentic, tasty Thai food.

Had a great company dinner a few months ago at Red Lantern. We all enjoyed the flavours from a combination of meat and vegetarian dishes. Good wine list.

A long-established Lebanese restaurant - used to be one of our favourites, but is looking somewhat tired at the moment. Food is still good though and the staff are friendly.

A cute, timber-panelled little cafe at the Cleveland street end of Crown Street. Nice spot for breakfast or a mid-morning coffee. Friendly staff and efficient service.
