I was desperate for a massage after doing the Melbourne Marathon last year. My physio was away for the week so had to find somewhere quick. I can recommend Pure Thai Massage. It's not a "dodgy" massage place. If you're wanting a sports massage I would suggest other places, but in a pinch this place will do the trick.

GNP automotive provided me with great service. Couldn't fault them. I'm usually very apprehensive about mechanics, but as I needed to change from my old one I was very pleased to find GNP. Will certainly return.

Wonderful book store, selling new books. All books are well priced. They mightn’t have the newest books on sale but all are priced at $7. Big selection across a wide variety of genres. We pop in regularly and always come out with a boom or two.

Delicious gelato if you’re in the Northcote area. Also a restaurant but my main reason to visit has always been to grab some ice cream.

If you’re in the Northcote area and find yourself wanting some delicious Indian food, give Base Camp a try. I have eaten here as well and gotten take away from there many times and have never been disappointed. Good value and delicious food. Friendly staff and even on a busy Friday night delivery times are very reasonable.

The service here is great, run by divine people. The lunch special is not to be missed. Or if you're on the run, grab one of the delicious sushi rolls. Highly recommended.

By far the best coffee in the area. Even in the quiet streets of Beaumaris this place is buzzing from open to close. The breaky menu is not to be missed, especially the BLT or zucchini fritters. Don't be turned off if it's busy inside, there's tables out the back.

The Grosvenor hotel is well know locally for delicious burgers, available takeaway through the drive through or in the bar/restaurant. It's been renovated inside and has a great atmosphere.

A popular hot spot for locals and visitors to Elwood. Jimmi Jamz has delicious wood fire pizzas at a great price.

One of the best views of the bay. Riva is a great spot to enjoy some food/drink on the deck and watch the sun set. The restaurant inside is fantastic and very popular with weddings/functions. At night it's not unusual for the music to be pumping with live music or a DJ.
