Nice menu, average sized serves, tasty food. Service is quite good but often they operate on minimum staff. I like the walnut fruit toast and the breakfasts in general. Coffee is also quite good. Has a lot going for it but doesn't quite make a WOW

At last a Spelling Bee for all Melbourne kids! This is a great way to get children involved in a fun educational activity. These competitions are held about every month. The volunteers who run it are dedicated and helpful and really try to make it a fun and interesting experience for the children. Any child from Prep to about Year 9 can enter and win prizes. Our kids love it!

This place used to be Neil's before this and is now a more trendy cafe. It is a little pricey but seems popular amongst the Malvern/Armadale set. I felt it was a bit pretentious but the fruit toast was good if expensive. The service was average to less than average. We didn't get everything we ordered. Overall not quite what we expected

This is our family's all time favourite place to celebrate special occasions. It is an ultimate fine dining experience without the extravagant price tag. The food is delicious, the service exceptional, and if you have a birthday there you get a free exquisite birthday cake for free. They're steaks are great and the extras, like vegies and chips a re yummy. So is their array of different breads. Well worth trying it for that special day. As long as you can go with a member....

This bistro caters very much for the St Kilda Rd office crowd so the service is sharp and fast. But that doesn't mean they skimp on quality. They have a very extensive menu, good serves and the food is great. I love the lamb grill and the chicken Caesar salad. They change the menu seasonally so you don't get bored with the menu.

We come here for Sunday breakfast. It has the best value breakfast around. For $10 you get a full breakfast, both a vegetarian or meat lovers one. Includes the lot, eggs, toast, spinach, mushrooms, hash brown, and bacon and sausage if you order the meat lovers. It also includes a juice or coffee. Now that's great value. The coffee is average and the breakfast is quite good though not the best around but if you want good value you can't beat it. It's a nice venue too.

Lovely French food with very friendly French waiter. We had lunch here but it is more suited as a dinner spot. Bread was great, dishes were delicate and tasty though not large. A little pricey as a lunch spot but pretty normal for a French restaurant. Great pommes frites.

Great cafe for breakfast or lunch. Tasty interesting meals at reasonable prices. I particularly like coming here on market days for breakfast. Great vibe.

Love going here for the shwarma but everything is good and reasonably priced. Been eating here for years before they had a sit down cafe. Well worth the trip

Nice little cafe next to the railway line.They have chairs outside that run alongside the line which is very cool. I didn't enjoy the coffee but the toasted cheese was nice. They give small portions and charge small prices so I suppose that is OK but I think full portions for a little more is better
