These guys do my favourite Chai Latte anywhere. The downside is that you definitely pay for it.

Sadly, this is the case with any coffee shop so it's to be expected. The cost of a decent coffee is almost criminal these days.

Service is good, meals are also on offer and they are of the quality you would expect from a high end cafe.

Overall they are nothing outstandingly amazing, but they are doing well since the flood and as I said: Best Chai Latte in town (in my opinion).

The Star Cafe is the perfect place for breakfast of a weekend. I regularly go there and have a Chai and Eggs Benedict. The food is always perfectly prepared and the meals are good value for money.

It's worth noting that the place has free wi-fi as well, so it's the perfect place to catch up on emails on your smart phone or tablet while enjoying a nice meal and delicious coffee or tea. This is my staple place to take visiting freinds and relatives for lunch.

Fitzy's on Church is an amazing place to have a meal, their large dining hall is modern, stylish and has a very chilled out atmosphere.

The food is outstanding, in fact they regularly win awards for best steak on the downs so you must try a steak if you have a meal there.

The staff are friendly and prompt and there is never a rush to get you out of there after your meal, you can stay, have a few drinks, chat with friends...

I would happily recommend it for a meal.

Qi Lin are my favourite Chinese Food place in Toowoomba. The food is delicious, they deliver and the prices are very reasonable for the food quality.

Qi Lin now offers buffet dining at a fixed price since their recent expansion. They were also awarded the best chinese food on the downs so they are definitely worth a visit.

Table service in my experience can be very staggered and slow, so you are better to order delivery, take away or go with the buffet.

I highly recommend the chicken omelette.

If not for JB Hi-Fi, I would probably have a lot more cash in my wallet and far fewer DVD's in my shelf.

JB Hi-Fi's strength is the range they have. There is no better stocked or more varied range of DVD's, Blu-Rays or CD's in Toowoomba. The music in particular deserves special mention.

The prices are competitive and there are always sales on. Their selection of stereo and hi-fi equipment is also very wide. You would be hard pressed to walk in here and not spend money on something. It's just too good not to.

Went to see these guys after one of my wisdom teeth became impacted with an exposed nerve. I called many dentists and Access were the only dentist to call me back and offer me an emergency appt that afternoon.

Waiting time was essentially 5 minutes.

I required major surgery (drill, blood, ugh) to extract the tooth and they did it then and there in about an hour with a minimum of fuss. I was offered juice afterwards to get my blood sugar up and given plenty of info on outpatient care. My surgeon even organised a discount to ensure I could pay on the day.

I would highly recommend this dentist to anyone who needs it. They made the whole process a lot less painful (ha...get it?) Than other dentists do.

Unfortunately the nightlife for this particular hotel has essentially ruined it as a daytime spot for lunches and the like. The floor is sticky (I lost the sole of a shoe while walking across it), the upstairs smells of spilt alcohol and vomit owing to the outdated carpet in a high foot traffic area absorbing liquids.

The only redeeming feature of the pub is that there is a decent pool room in the back separate from the rest of the hotel. It offers peace and quiet from the rest of the bar and it is nice and clean in there.

Unfortunately this is not a big enough draw for me to attend the place more than once in a blue moon. A lot of work needs to be done to improve this place or at least make it suitable for daytime customers. Otherwise it may as well shut during the day and remain open for nights only.

I do love the meals and service here, the only reason my overall score is lower is because of the danger of being at this particular hotel of a night.
As lovely as it is during the daytime for lunches, it's a different story at night.
The Shamrock seems to attract a violent and rowdy crew of a night and unfortunately this has lowered my view of the establishment.
But as long as you restrict your visits to end at around 9:00pm it is a great place for a meal and a drink.

The Cube does offer amazing meals, but their prices can get a bit too much for evening meals and mains. It is good for once in a while, but your average joe won't be able to afford to eat there too regularly.
Where The Cube shines is in it's lunchtime meals. The specials available with the Stonegrill menu specifically are amazing.
15 dollars for the Stonegrilled rump, chips and salad is more than value for money and the food is amazing.

The service I have found to be average of a night, in fact it's sometimes hard to get noticed, but during the lunches there is a man there (forget his name, greg or craig...something like that) who offers the best customer service I have seen in years. I never usually tip a server unless they are exceptional and I tipped him 20 dollars. He had earned it.

Try the Cube for lunch, you won't be disappointed.

Love this place. The staff are extremely friendly and follow the tradition of exuberantly saying hello in Japanese as you enter and farewelling you as you leave. The restaurant is a sushi train style setup so it's great for groups or singles going in to eat.
The chefs are incredibly fast and the sushi they produce is the best in Toowoomba. In fact the best I've ever eaten (try the California roll it's amazing). The flavours are light and authentic and everything is prepared perfectly.
The pricing goes by what colour your plate is. So it's easy to calculate your bill while your eating which means no surprises at the register.
If the train isn't bringing around your type of sushi, the staff will organise it to be prepared for you and the chefs respect dietary requirements.
All in all, good atmosphere, delicious food that is reasonably priced for the quality, and a pleasant dining experience.
I highly recommend it.
