McDonalds Geraldton has really improved. Most of the time their food is pretty good and of course the Happy Meals are always a hit with my kids. On occassion we do sit inside, but mostley we use the drive through. I only have one complaint. A while back they use to wrap their burgers, which was great because it made it easier to eat while driving. Now they slap them in a box, you have to balance the burger in one hand, while the juice runs down your hand and arm and hoping that anything that falls out lands in the box.
We have not bought any computers here, but we have bought a few smaller items. While I find their computers a little pricey, some of their smaller items are reasonably priced. They have helped us with computer repairs and are always on hand to offer advice and answer questions.
This is a great place for all ages. We currently spend two to three nights a week here. I have one daughter that does swimming lessons. She loves the lessons and is doing really well. My eldest daughter is a member of Geraldton Swim Club which is based at the Aquarena. It is great both fitness and social wise to be a part of the club. The Aquarena is also a good venue for birthday parties and also just for fun.
A great company to deal with. We bought alot from Wests when finishing our new home. We purchased verticles, venetians, shower screens and ballastrade. Very helpful and professional from equiry and quoting right through to the installation.
Kirklands have helped us around the house on many occasions. They have installed new external lights, wiring to our swimming pool, wired our shed and may other jobs around our home. Short waiting times, very professional and reasonably priced.
A lovely little cafe nestled under a huge Moreton Bay Fig Tree. Nice to sit in the shade with coffee and a cake and watch the world go by. The Coffee tree also has takeaway Thai food which is absolutely delicious and reasonibly priced too.
We visit the Sugar Shack on occasion. Sometimes it is nice to sit on their veranda under the umbrellas. My girls like to come here to have milkshakes and wedges with sour cream.
A lovely private hospital. It is under going some major renovations at the moment and expanding too. My husband has had one surgery here and I delivered our second daughter here. The staff were wonderful and attentive, the food was good too.
This store is massive. Everything you could possibly want that has anything to do with cars. We have bought quite a few things from here. The best and most useful purchase was the window sox. They sell generic sox and sox that are custom made for certain models. I recommend the custom made as they are the best fit.
King Kong, the shop that has just about anything. A great place to take the little ones when their pocket money is burning a hole in their pocket. Bags to birthday party supplies and presents, there is so much to choose from.
