Lovely, good priced drinks, quiet enough for a chat but bustling enough to have a good atmosphere
One of the nicer cafes in mentone, very large and nice wooden floors provide a lot of character to the place. Breakfast, salads and drinks are good here.
I've been here twice for breakfast, and it was great. Adequate portions and fast service. I would recommend True South for brunch.
They do good coffee here, it's quite popular so it's sometimes hard to get a table but quite a relaxed atmosphere, good for a catch up with friends
Although the quality of the food is quite good, some of the desserts are really overpriced. I payed $9 for two scoops of chocolate icecream once, and a friend of mine payed $8 for a tiny slice of cake.
Great little place, with a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.
I usually get a foccacia and fries and it's always fresh and delicious.

The lunchtime deal is excellent value for money. I think it's something like $12 for a drink, main course and tea/coffee/hot choc.

Fabulous service. I had my haircut here after walking past a few times.
I had a very thorough consultation before we started. I felt as though he was really understanding what I wanted, and he would constantly clarify (using layman's terms to make sure he really understood what I wanted, for example: did I want my layers chipped at vertically, or did i want them cut straight across).
What I liked in particular was that he allowed me to feel 'in control' the whole time by saying things like 'point to the place that you want me to cut up to'.
Claude was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable, but he did get chatting and it ended up taking quite a while!
