Fantastic photographer and very professional. He is the best and most reasonably priced in the wedding industry. Trustworthy and sharply dressed on the day. He has an eye for great candid shots. Make sure you get black and white photos the are definitely worth it. I still keep in touch with John after all these years. Was just looking at my old wedding pictures again today.
I was spoilt for a celebration dinner at Stokehouse Upstairs. Two words truffle scallops. I really really enjoyed those. The bombe alaska dessert was different but I found it a bit sweet for my liking. This restaurant was full and I was in the later seating, I think it is a pleasant dining environment, not too busy that you cannot hear each other. Good food and wine, staff knew what they were doing.

Really enjoyed my 4 course meal especially the confit duck leg. Do not usually go to Toorak and have an impression that there is nothing special out there. But this restaurant gave me an enjoyable meal and we felt looked after. Staff attentive but not intrusive, just what you want for a special night out.

Knowledgeable staff, lovely place to visit and to browse for flowers. It is always nice to have a look at their outdoor furniture to get some inspiration as well. Their outdoor furniture are at the higher end range but it sets the standard for what you should be looking for. Well stocked and staff are not intrusive. A great weekend place to browse as everything is orderly and well set up.
Oh thank goodness, finally a place to get quality Xiao Long Bao in Melbourne. Tried their braised beef noodles last visit and it was really good too. Pan fired Xiao long bao was fluffy and not thick and hard. We have been gone back two weekends in a row!

Had door deadlocks replaced and was able to do both doors with the same key. One door had key stuck in the existing lock which was not secure. They came at the agreed time and was able to complete everything quickly so that we were able to go back to work.
This place was so busy on a friday afternoon I had to walk away disappointed at lunchtime. My usual order is laksa curry noodles Yong Tau Fu. I have an addiction and I have to come here at least once a week! It is so good!
Approximate cost: $11
Really busy place and small as well. So best that you try to go early or later as it is really worth it. Must try items are the Melbourne dumplings and pan fried fish dumplings. These are not cheap and nasty dumplings and the price reflects the quality. So do not walk in thinking it is Camy dumplings price range. The service as usual.. Chinese places what can you say? I'm used to it but i guess it would rub others the wrong way.

Oh gosh there is a reason why the queue for takeaway is out the door for this place. It is fresh, good value and such a refreshing change from stale factory made sushi rolls. Had a bento box with sushi burger set and added $1 extra for soft shell crab in my burger. So filling and the best food. Great place to go for lunch.
Approximate cost: $15
I went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. At 8.40am, the place was packed and we managed to get the last table. I had the crumpets and the kids had toast with their jams. The crumpet was different and very tasty. The breakfast items are quite expensive, coffee is great, service is really good and not intrusive as previous reviewers have mentioned.
