We have been customers of Ming Court for a long, long time. We have used the dining room and take away services.

Both services are excellent and we can recommend both.

Of the two services we prefer the take away option as it fits our lifestyle better.

The menu is typical for a Chinese restaurant, but the prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are very good.

The take away service also offers a free large fried rice if you pick up your order at the restaurant and have a coupon.

The food is very good and the flavour and taste for us are just right.

One of the best things that I can say about the restaurant is that over the years the food has not changed. The flavour is consistent as well as the quality and content of the meals.

The staff is friendly and I believe the same person has owned and operated the restaurant for a long time.

Overall I think this is one of the best Chinese restaurants and take aways in the area.

Max Stern has a very nice stamp and coin shop located in the Port Phillip Arcade across from Flinders Street Station. The store is easy to find and easy to get to if you are going to visit the Melbourne CBD.

The shop has a huge number of stamps and coins displayed on windows outside the shop and a large range of items in the shop as well.

The shop has a good range of supplies and catalogues too.

Service is good and the staff are friendly.

A nice place to shop and look at a variety of items.

The facilities are clean and the restaurant is large with tables on two floors. Service was fast and efficient.

The food prices are typical for a Berwick restaurant - a little too high for what you get.

The food was ok, but the seasoning was a little to sweet for our tastes. The portions were a little on the small side considering the price, but inline with "Berwick" prices.

One thing that did surprise me was the fact that they charged for the containers to takeaway the leftovers from the meal. With the high menu prices this was definately a negative.

Overall while the meal was ok it was nothing special, the prices were high and I doubt that we'll eat there again.

The shop is located across the road from the Forest Hill Shopping Centre which makes it nice if you want to do other shopping while dropping into the shop. With one more stamp shop in the shopping centre you can visit two shops on the same trip.

The premises are located on the second floor of the building and next to a parking lot which makes it much easier to find parking.

The business has an outstanding web site that allows you to search for many different items and the web site is really easy to use.

The shop area for customers is quite small and crowded with a table and shelves of old stamp albums that you can browse through. There are also a number of plastic cases filled with covers to look through. The customer area also has a few small display cases with coins in them.

The back office area is filled with other items and you have to ask to look through these.

The shop has a huge range of items and the prices are reasonable.

The display area has a number of books with stamps in them, but in general there is no systematic arrangement to the way the stamps are put in the display books with Japan next to Australia and so on. A nice way to spend lots of time looking, but not very efficient. The shop also has additional books with stamps behind the counter, but you have to ask to see them.

The shop takes credit cards, but the purchase must be over $20 or you'll have to pay cash.

While the shop is a nice place to browse, the prices for stamps are ridiculous. Many are priced at full Stanley Gibbons catalogue value or even higher.

Better value for the stamp collector can be found at many other venues.
