I had some friends visit for a girls' weekend and we stumbled upon this place while shopping. We had lunch on the Saturday and it was so good we brought the boys back on the Sunday for breakfast - which was even better!
Prahran is a great location and this cafe blends in well - It's also a bakery and the cakes and pastries are just incredible.
It's another notch in Melbourne's awesome cafe belt - The food is definitely the highlight!

Firstly - Best pizza I've ever tasted! They have an unusual but superb menu of pizza and pasta - The lamb, tandoori chicken and one with meatballs and satay sauce (I forget the name) are personal favourites.
You do have to wait a long time (especially on weekends) because it's so popular; which is a good sign of how good their food is.
It's not the cheapest pizza either but you do get what you pay for.

A friend and I went to this restaurant to grab a quick bite to eat before our movie. It took a while for them to take our order which was understandable considering how busy they were. 45 minutes later we hadn't even received our garlic bread to start let alone our drinks.
Both of us eventually got the waitress' attention and after ten more minutes she came back apologising to us and letting us know that we would receive our meals for free when they eventually do get here.
The food was okay it was what we expected from La Porchetta's but when we went up to pay for our drinks, the extremely rude owner told us that we weren't getting our meals for free we were only getting the garilc bread free in no uncertain terms! He was extremely arrogant to us and non-apologetic and I don't think a business, especially a family business should be run like that.
We had to catch a much later movie and will NEVER go there again.

Went here for a quick lunch with a couple of work friends - Quite a tight squeeze on the second story looking over the lane way but the decor is interesting and strangely warm.
The food was good though it was by no means quick - probably because they had one girl waiting on all of the tables as well as taking care of drinks.
I'd say the menu had a Mediterranean feel to it, mostly Greek and even though the selection wasn't huge, everything looked nice as well as healthy.
It was okay but nothing to write home about.

This place was one of my regulars when I lived around the Mill Park area - But it's still worth the visit being a little further away now.
It's quite the surprise being so far out of the city but it has just as much class and atmosphere as being in the hustle and bustle.

This restaurant is suitable for a casual breakfast, lunch or dinner as well as a quiet drink in the lounge area. It's also great for functions with a classy outdoor section. Something for everyone and the food is excellent.

I fell in love with bagels when I visited London - So I was thrilled when I started my new job on Collins St only to find this wonderful bagel shop just behind my work!

It's on Flinders Lane in quite a nice, big open plan cafe space with nice wooden floors.

The bagels are as good as any I've had and they obviously have all sorts of Jewish foods that also look good - But when I'm in there I have a one track mind so I haven't ventured out yet.

The wait staff aren't afraid to have a bit of a joke with you and they seem to have a great rapport with the regulars (having regulars is a good sign too) - The food is well presented in glass cabinets and everything looks fresh as well.

Good food, good value, good people! :)

An honest mechanic!? Who would've thought!

I'm from the country and most of my family members know everything about cars so I don't usually need to use mechanics - But I desperately needed some new brake pads so I took a risk with these guys.

They seemed to genuinely care about the state of my car as well as explaining everything I needed to know about what they were doing and what I needed to do in the future.

The price was very reasonable too so I didn't feel like I'd just been ripped off. If you're a female who knows next to nothing about a car then you should feel safe going to Steve and Nick's.

We came here for a birthday for one of our work mates so it became more like a 'business' lunch. The decor' is probably the best part about the restaurant. It is cosy and well thought out.

We had several waiters during lunch and they seemed a bit too eager to take our orders (we told them a few times that we were waiting for others) but they were all very professional and nice.

The wine list wasn't fabulous and neither was the selection of food to choose from on the menu. We all shared pizzas which were really nice but a bit too pricy for what they were worth.
