This cafe was recommended to me by a friend who lives in the area and we decided to go on Sunday for a family brunch. The Cafe is located near the display home offices, on the lake. Seating is available inside and outside. It is very family friendly with highchairs, a separate children's menu and crayons are provided. My boys were impressed with the baby chinos which came out with a chocolate tiny teddy, two marshmallows and chocolate topping had been used to create a teddy bears face. Probably the highlight of their day. The coffee was very good too. We had poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms and hash browns. The flavours were great and it was well cooked. I especially enjoyed the mushrooms. The only thing is there was only a small piece of sourdough toast under the two eggs. If you were just ordering the eggs and toast for $11, I think you would feel a bit ripped off. The sides were $4 each. My boys shared some chips which were well presented on a wooden board with sauce and aioli on the side, they were chunky and delicious. The service was fantastic, very friendly staff, our orders were taken quickly and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. The cafe is open 7 days a week for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I would like to go back to try something from the Lunch menu. A good place to go with family or to catch up with friends. There is a fantastic playground around the corner and I can see myself getting a take away coffee from here and taking it to the park with the kids.

When I was a kid I lived in a small country town and it was a tradition in our family whenever we came to Melbourne to stay, we would have dinner at Toto's. I haven't been there in years but went last night for a meal before seeing a play with some girlfriends. I had a small Capricosa and it was delicious. The base was thin, just the right amount of topping and cooked perfectly. We also shared 1L of the house red and that was a surprisingly good wine too. Service was friendly and the meals came out quickly. It was busy, a friend of ours had been in there earlier in the week and it was recommended that we booked a table for a Saturday night. It was quite noisy and a bit difficult to hear conversation at times.

We've been here twice in the past couple of months, once for a family day out and the other time for a friend's birthday party. My friend reserved some tables under the BBQ shelter and it was a great day out. My kids loved running up and down the paths, pressing the buttons that bring the stories to life. Their favorites were the Gingerbread house and Jack and the beanstalk. Puff the Magic Dragon is quite impressive too. The playground is every child's dream come true. A castle with turrets, interconnecting tunnels, a dungeon, slides and headless statues and torture devices which provide plenty of photo opportunities. There is a kiosk but we bought our own picnic so I can't say what the food is like. There is also a little gift shop where you can buy fairy figurines at reasonable prices. I bought a little fairy for my niece for $3. My kids can't wait to go back.
I went there with a group of girlfriends for a quick meal before seeing a movie on a Sunday night. It was fairly quiet but it still took us a while to be served. We were also seated right underneath the big screen TV which was annoying and distracting. When we told the waitress we had to leave at a certain time to see the movie she assured us that our meals would arrive in time. She was right. We ordered both pizza, pasta and risotto. Everyone enjoyed their meal. I had the Capricosa pizza and it was delicious. Would go back again for dinner before a movie would ask to sit somewhere different though.

Our favorite pizza place in Hoppers. We usually get either the Capricosa, Margarita or Vegetarian. Pizzas are usually ready in 10-15 minutes. I do find they taste better when you pick them up yourself as the base is crispier and fresher. When they are delivered sometimes they seem a bit soggy from being in the box for a while.
I've been to the Stags Head several times on a lazy Sunday afternoon to catch up with some girl friends over lunch and jugs of beer in the beer garden. Each time it has been fairly quiet which has suited us! Good times. Food is delicious, last time we got chips and an antipasto plate to share.
I wish I could love this pizza place as I live within walking distance from it and have heard great things about it from other people but every time I order pizza from here (pick up) it always tastes undercooked, like it needs another 5 minutes in the oven. Staff are friendly though.
I started going to this Vet this year when I adopted my kitten and had to get vaccinations. I have found them incredibly helpful and will continue to take my cat there for future appointments. The vet was great with my 6 year old son and told him he was doing a wonderful job in looking after his pet which made him very proud of himself. Reception staff are very competent and friendly too.
Fantastic Cafe, very spacious inside. We've been there quite a few times as a family for breakfast, food is delicious, we love the bacon and poached eggs. My boys love the pancakes. Coffee is great and the staff very friendly.
We go here when we are craving Vietnamese and can't be bothered to drive to Footscray. We have been here twice with our 3 year old and have also gotten takeaway quite a few times. The service is polite and friendly and the food comes out quickly. We love the prawn spring rolls and the salt and pepper squid. The 3 year old didn't like the prawn crackers, a bit different from the ones you get elsewhere. We will be back.
great review - thanks a bunch! i live in the area myself and have always wanted to try the cafe out!
