This is my favourite local bakery, and I'm glad it's within walking distance!!! They do fantastic pies, doughnuts, and slices, and my favourite Saturday morning brekky is the Ham and Cheese Crossaint! We've had a variety of flavours there, and we always get service with a smile! I think I'll get a Chilli Beef pie this weekend... Oh, they also have fried food on offer, if that's what you're after, as well as doing fresh coffees.
A lot of people will avoid buffets at all costs, but Kitchen Workshop is a pleasant surprise. The food is tasty, and seems to be pretty good quality, especially for the price. We usually go for a weekday lunch, and arrive early to avoid it being too crowded. The teppanyaki bar is a bit of fun too. The dessert bar is an absolute ripper, and if you find something you like, then you're set. The chocolate pudding with meringue topping was awesome, and I am also a massive fan of their caramel profiteroles. If you want classy, go elsewhere, but if you want good food, value, and variety, without the frills, this is great!

Went along for dinner using a Scoopon, and was really pleased with the value linked to that! It would have been a little pricey on normal costs, but we got an excellent deal. We shared the Garlic Prawns for entree, which were lovely, and for mains my partner had the Linguini Marinara, whilst I went for a Chicken Caesar. Both were top-notch, so we were quite chuffed. The Chocolate Brownie for dessert, as recommended by our lovely waitress, was great too, and we went home satisfied. There was a trivia night on when we attended, but it wasn't too bad for those like us not competing. The venue has a nice vibe, although there's a lot of the yuppie crowd there (skinny suits and narrow ties). The service was good, although we did have to wave-down the girls sometimes to get an extra drink. All-up, we enjoyed it, and would definitely consider going back. (And they didn't charge us for water...)

These guys do excellent food, and VERY good cakes. I am always pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the quantities, and the price. Also, the cakes are to die for! Very yummy indeed, including my favourite which is the White Chocolate Macadamia. The only criticism is that the service is regularly slow, and I've seen many people get a bit fed-up by that, however it's usually always friendly. Have been back, and will go back, many times in the future.

Quality here is top notch, no doubt. The cakes are lovely! Service is ok, but nothing special. The girls are so rushed they don't have time to be friendly. They have a great business model... Great quality, small offerings meaning you buy more, and charge higher prices for beverages to make a few more dollars.
Went here with a voucher. To say the booking was smooth is less-than accurate. The guy didn't want to honour our pre-paid voucher!!! Once we convinced him that he should accept our booking, we attended. The place was only half-full, so not sure why booking was so difficult. The wait staff was excellent, and the food was good, albeit pricey for Indian. Plenty of other options are around for similar cuisine, but these guys will ensure a good night out.

We went here on a deal, and were looked after pretty well. The meal was lovely, and cooked perfectly, so no complaints on that front. The service was adequate, nothing extraordinary. The venue itself was quite loud, which was surprising, and the young children running wild, although not the fault of the venue, was a downside. We'd head back there if we were in the area, but not in a rush.
Went here for coffee and cake after another establishment didn't bother taking our order, but that's just an aside... We knew the Coffee Club would look after us. We had a Chocolate Bounty cake which was awesome, albeit expensive. My partner had a white hot chocolate, and i had a Coke Zero, both of which are significantly overpriced also. The service is 'ok', but I'd expect it to improve with the introduction of table service in October. A smile wouldn't hurt. Almost $20 for 2 drinks and a slice of cake is just a bit too steep.
It's unfortunate the rating system does not allow for 0/5 scores, as this was an absolute disgrace. We popped in for a coffee and cake after dinner, and the venue was about 60% full. We were seated and water provided promptly. We had a quick look at the menu, decided what we wanted, closed the menus and waited for the waitress to come and take our orders. The waitress walked past our table at least 6 times, and whilst we tried to make eye contact, we had no luck. About 10 minutes later, I then started to count from 0 to 100 in my head, slowly, and upon reaching 100, we decided to leave. To be honest, I assume the menus are probably still on the table, and they haven't even realised we left.
I've eaten there before, and the food is overpriced, and the service is generally less-than friendly. Have given this place a few chances, but I won't be bothering any time soon, especially considering the plethora of alternatives available in the precinct.
Nice little cafe serving good quality meals. Better than the pub grub in the area, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxed.
