We are travelling to and from Melb and Brissie and needed a friendly place to rest our heads whist we undertake real estate hunting. Had a terrible experience at Chermside apartments so when we arrived here we were happy our stress had lifted and Wendy and Paulo were down to earth and friendly. I was surprised as this was the cheapest place we got and I was expecting nothing spectacular but the room was very spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable which was wonderful as the previous bed had hurt our backs terribly and we were very upset that we did not stay here for the whole 10 days of our Brisbane stay! They have a lovely pool outside and a communal bbq and kitchen. Free parking and the other rooms that were shown to us for our longer stays were humongous with fully equipped kitchens. I have a few relatives that will be coming up to visit us when we move and will definitely recommend these guys! Great place!

Terrible place. The rooms are tiny, very claustrophobic...a bed with a noisy fridge...Kettle wont turn on unless you activate the noisy extractor, TV is barely viewable from the bed, very busy road...poor sleep quality...really basic.
I had checked with 3 other hotels but via email this was the most expensive and going by website photos and email from the staff regarding facilities and breakfast I made a horrible mistake went by what they told and showed me and picked them.
I would not have even bothered leaving a review if it wasn't for the truly disgusting service from the staff.
Checking in we noticed the staff were emotionless and cold but trouble arose when we asked about the gym access promised and boasted to us via email. They told my partner and I we could only get 1 pass per day for 1 person only. When we showed then the emails that said otherwise they just shrugged. Manager was horrendous. She couldn't be bothered addressing us but told us to wait like 2 school children on the couch and then went through my personal email on my phone. Not just the one I showed her. I am truly shocked and embaressed. Even seeing it was their mistake she threw the employee under the bus that told us about the gym which showed a terrible team ethic. Long story short it was unprofessionally handled. Very unprofessional and downright nasty and rude!
Be prepared if you make the mistake of staying here to have your account charged with a 'bond' when checking in.
You need a car here, there is no access to anything and he airport is not close at all.
Breakfast is laughable. They try sell their rooms by stating 'buffet breakfast, home away from home etc'..If you get up at 7 am to take up the offer you are greeted by cereal and apples from Aldi whilst you are watched by a staff member.
Ugh...lucky we left and stayed at Aspley Carsel which were lovely at half the price and even had daily housekeeping and a pool.

Getting rewarded for doing what I like best? Eating,shopping,spending money....I love this site! I have made a few great purchases with my rewards so far and I love giving honest reviews about my experiences to share so this site is a win/win for me. Unfortunately one problem was that my account was shut down and I was advised by a young girl that I have been using 'multiple accounts'...I was exasperated and she did test my patience (by not being helpful & not explaining why) but when I asked fervently for a supervisor they did help out and the young girl advised that since I am active they will let me off...which irritated me as I didn't have other accounts...BUT it ended well and I understand training people can be difficult but it is neccasary. My partner though complained he cant open an account, I told him to address WOMO as I referred him and they shut it down. I do hope they help as I do love spreading the word about this site. However as with all other review sites you get the few suspicious reviews...especially when a business only has people with 1 review constantly commenting on how wonderful their experience was. You just have to use common sense. I do however commend WOMO for its rewards program, very generous!

This place gives me the heeby jeebies! BUT in a good way! I loved looking in the cells and examining the scratched graffiti from inmates from the 19th century. They also have death masks which eerily have human hair still stuck in them (gross)...
I had read reviews of a so called 'ghost' haunting the gaol and pics of it in blogs. Determined to find it, I did! But it was a fake clear statue...fortunately! Great place to learn a bit of history, some quite sad...

I went for the first time on a quiet night. There was us and another couple. Its BYO as they don't sell alcohol. There was a young boy serving and he forgot to give us cutlery but we just took it off another table. The dips came and they were massive! We waited another 10 mins for the bread though. The mains were good and I really liked it for a quiet night. Baclava is delicious aswell. Will come here again.
