Coffees are better than most cafe's in the area. Service is always fast and friendly and there's always plenty of seats to accommodate everyone. A pleasant place to just sit and have coffee or have lunch.
Food is inconsistent. One day it's good, the next it's dry and tasteless. When they first opened they had a $9 lunch special that increased to $10.50 after a few weeks. Obviously they're taking advantage of the fact that there's not many eateries in the area, which hopefully will change soon.
The kebabs aren't very good. They're so oily that oil drips down your arm as you're eating it. Service could be better. Recommend a different system to shouting out raffle ticket numbers.
Have dined here for lunch and dinner as we are locals. The food is fantastic. Sashimi is always fresh and I love the little containers of food that come with the mains. Service is hot and cold. The male waiter with the American accent is the best wait staff they have.
The BEST baked ricotta cheesecake in the world. Just thinking about it is making my mouth salivate. The coffee and other cakes are quite good too but the cheesecake for me is the standout. I will never get a cake from the Cheesecake Shop or Michel's ever again!
The food here is so-so. The pho is tasteless but ok after adding fish sauce. The wait staff are not very friendly, except for one male waiter who served us last time we dined here.
Might try one of the Chinese dishes next time.
We've dined here a couple of times now and both times the food was fantastic.
The laksa is nice and spicy and not bland like most places. Stir fry's were tasty.
Having moved to Newington from the inner city, we're thankful to have found a fantastic Thai place nearby. We'll definitely be back again...and again and again.
Dined here with 5 other people. We were seated outside then a female waitress was going to move us to another table as apparently our table was reserved even though there was no reserved sign on it. Thankfully we stayed put.
Lovely atmosphere, especially if you're seated outside. Pizzas were ordinary however. Can't tell the difference between these wood-fired pizzas to normal pizzas.
Fantastic pizzas and pretty good value for money. I strongly recommend trying the home-made iced tea. The service leaves a lot to be desired though. The girl plonked our cutlery and plates down on our table without first wiping it clean. At least we didn't have long to wait for our food.
Had a lovely dinner here the other night, the salt & pepper squid was lovely! We'll definitely be back to try the other tapas. The service could be better, it seems the girl did not understand English very well but we didn't mind asking more than once.
