Maria and her team offer personal, friendly service, a nice open clean salon, make fellas who want a simple cut always welcome and are reasonably priced. Sometimes they can take you on the spot rather than having to make a booking.

these guys offer a nice homemade hot food offering - hamburgers made to order with extras or kebabs etc. OK for a change up and if you don't mind a small wait compared to the ready made ones at Maccas for example

If you want a quick visit for something small in hardware, a gadget, something for the yard or a simple part then Mitre10 here is a good experience. It is easy to get in and out of (unlike the big warehouse style of hardware).

These guys offer basic coffee and breakfast goodies, sweets etc. and fish meals from lunch and evening. The coffees and always of great quality and good price and the fish related food from the beach side is nicely presented and fresh. A nice treat on a warm summer afternoon evening

Trade winds has been around for ages as a nice place to meet to end a night for desert/coffee. It has within last 5 years or so had a revamp and has a great menu for evening dining experience. Would highly recommend it.

Have been in various time for different items - Rebel is pretty good at having most things you need for sports. I have had good experiences buying equipment like basketball, swimming, soccer boots, and running shoes and clothing. Not so good for certain supporter wear where the range isn't big (in Sydney)

These guys have recently set up in the area. Before this their closest store was at Taren Point. They have good range of small plants and soils, mulches. We got some good advice and started on their loyalty program which helps with future rewards.

These guys provide a good range of home-made pies, sausage rolls and sweets. They are reasonably priced, and the pies taste good when you want to indulge in a hot tasty snack say on a Saturday arvo.
