A new addition to the fresh food precinct at Stockland Merrylands.

Magic Asian Supermarket offers a large range of Asian products at reasonable prices. They stock lots of brands and the store is spacious and well laid out.

If you're looking for something, just ask the shop assistant who are very friendly.

This is one of the many new shops recently opened in the Stockland Merrylands shopping centre.

The Froyo Factory is jumping on the hype that is still surrounding frozen yoghurt. What makes it different is that it is a self-serve concept where you are charged by weight.

When I came into the store a couple of days after the grand opening, it was a bit confusing to know what to do. No one was around to explain it to me and looking around, it wasn't just me who was confused. Another customer and myself, after looking confused for a minute or two, finally saw that we grabbed the yoghurt cups from the counter - two sizes are available: a small and a 'large' (? which looks more like a regular size at other comparable froyo places).

There are three machines available, offering two flavours each or even a mix/swirl of the two flavours together! I opted for the mango and coconut and on my second try, the mango and watermelon. The flavours are nice and refreshing. My favourite out of the flavours I have tasted so far is the watermelon. It tastes like real watermelon and is refreshing to have on a hot day!

The machines are quite easy to use as it is just like using an ice-cream machine.

You then move onto the toppings. There are a wide range of toppings available - fruit (strawberries, blueberries, passionfruit etc), sweets (100s and 1000s, Oreos, Flakes etc) or the sauce toppings (caramel, strawberry or chocolate).

When you're done, it's to pay. This was the confusing part. There were no clear signage indicating how you would be charged. I looked around for signs and there was none. The only 'sign' was on the TV behind the counter which flashed between the price "25c/10g" and the next screen following that was images of the froyo.

The price is a bit dear for what is it. 280g = $7.

One of the best local cake shops around.

They have a variety of cakes available for purchase - both half cakes and full size.
The cakes themselves are moist, perfect sweetness and delicious!

A similar cake at other cake shops would be 1.5 times the price but here, the prices are cheap but you get amazing quality. My favourite is the 'tropical paradise cake'. I could eat it everyday.

The service here is also impeccable. They are willing to meet any reasonable requests.

A popular yum-cha restaurant in Cabramatta. It gets really packed around lunchtime on the weekends so make sure you head there early.

There's always an abundance of trolleys going around and the dishes are always hot not cold. If you're looking for something in particular, just flag down a waiter/waitress who will help you.

Prices are bit high considering but it is a nice place to bring out of towners

One of the best tasting Thai restaurants around.

While the decor and interior of the restaurant may need updating, the food is amazing.

Their pad thai tastes delicious with the flavours balancing each other out. The massaman curry is the same - no flavours overpowering each other but rather working together to give a party in your mouth!

Staff are friendly and they always include complimentary prawn crackers! Definitely value for money and I'm always coming back.

This is both one of mine and my partner's favourite Thai restaurants in our local area.

Saute Thai does get a bit busy on the weekends so like another reviewer said - book beforehand!

We always get the tom yum and the crispy satay chicken with rice. Dishes always come out quickly, generous serving size and tastes authentic and delicious.

The prices are quite average compared to other restaurants in the same vicinity.

My cousins and I dined here a couple of weeks ago for my late birthday dinner.

We walked past it and saw that it was as new addition to the plethora of restaurants on Church St.

Verona is advertised as an Italian and French restaurant and this is evident in their offerings.

They have vegetarian dishes as well which was indicated clearly on the menu. One of the diners is a vegetarian so this made ordering fuss-free and easy.

All of the dishes came out promptly and so did our drinks.

I had the filet mignon which was cooked perfectly but the sauce was a bit too salty.
Other dishes we ordered were:
- salt and pepper calamari and prawns: this too was a bit too salty but both the calamari and prawns were not overcooked
- zucchini flowers: delicious!
- fresh barramundi fillet: I was told that this tasted nice and fresh
- chicken st loren: this was a generous serving and tasted delicious
- pumpkin ravioili: nice and could taste the pumpkin flavour without it being overbearing

The total ended up being $50pp which was just a tad much but the service and dishes were worth it.

Overall, I would definitely return to Verona as the service and food were great.

My partner and I dined here based on a few glowing recommendations from friends and family.

To be honest, I felt that it was overpriced for mediocre Italian food. The servings were generous and the service is great but the food was bland.

Probably won't be returning as there are other great Italian places locally.

Good to have a sushi train place that's close to home.

The dishes were average to mediocre however the service was attentive and professional.

It's a bit expensive for what it is so I don't recommend going there daily ;)

One of the best local places to get some decent fish and chips. Products are fresh and don't cost too much either. You can see how popular it is around lunchtime when the wait time is a bit long. But it's worth it. Service is always friendly and as fast as humanly possible depending on the circumstances.
