Located near the iconic El Alamein Fountain these organic markets are run every Saturday and bring with it the bustle of locals and travellers alike

Organic and Conventional fruit and veg, organic free range eggs are usually sold out early in the day so best advice would be to get there early to avoid disappointment.

Other scrummies include beautifully baked cakes and slices, French gateau and baguette, Snowy River Smoked Trout just to name a few.

It's dog friendly, people friendly, kid friendly and couldn't think of a better way to start your weekend!

bit slow to start with but for a weekday market it's nice specially in such a busy world. close to the water, set in a park with some fantastic willow trees, kids and mother's groups having play-dates (there are pony rides, jumping castles, baby animal petting zoos) gotta love this place.

There's a really cool French vibe with some quiches being baked on site, and these guys have created a mini outdoor Parisian cafe! There is LOADS of gourmet yummies (the smoked trout is to DIE for!), stacks of organic food and seems to be getting busier each time we go there!

another sensational organic hangout on a sunday. easy to get to by bus (which is great for me cause i don't drive), carpark is ALWAYS full (which is an excellent sign specially early in the mornings), my fave butchers (free range) sharing yummy samples, Vince (old italian) gives you above and beyond what you pay for in fruit and veg, there is some amazing vegan alternatives and it's like a little bit of multicultural streetfood heaven. they have an indoor market which i like A LOT which has (wait for it....) a hair stylist! bit the bullet, took the plunge: he's now my hairdresser!

this place is like a mecca on sundays and it's SO easy to find. simply follow the trail of the everfaithful and nirvana is found. it's laid back atmosphere belies what would be a pretty stringent set up from management to stallies cause you they are there rain, hail or shine, always with a smile, always with a story and always with new produce. being gluten free it's HEAVEN!
