Great range and variety of products but it is often hard to find things.
Some staff have great knowledge but others should never leave the cash register.
It is usually impossible to find staff to help when you need them.
Some staff will see that your obviously having trouble finding something but they just keep on going without asking if you need assistance.
Often long waiting lines at the cash register and trade desk.

Simple requests were responded to with such disdain it was as if I was asking for a pint of their blood.
I am sure that it was a recipe or instruction card that they looked up before making our drinks.
Food service was a joke - we almost rang for a pizza it took so long.

Simon is a Legend, knows his stuff and is so efficient and organized that his reputation has the other side running for cover.
Simon looked after me more than once for different things and I have referred 5 or 6 family & friends to him for WC and Motor Vehicle claims in the past.
Everyone has been very happy with Simon and I have never heard anyone say anything bad about him.

I remember this as a restaraunt we went to with my mum on shopping trips to the city - kind of a reward if I had been good when going to all the department stores - fond memories.
So I guess I had high expectations when I dropped in on the spur of the moment for lunch.
There was nothing special about the service or food - just another corner lunch bar.

I suspect this Sushi is being made by a French pastry chef or maybe an Indian curry cook. I don't remember having worse sushi and the servery must have been working because the food was the wrong temperature - Yuk!

Sorry I have to disagree with Lucy on this one.
I have been to them many times with a variety of native animal in distress and domestic pets needing treatment.
It is true that they showed me how to get bush tics off bob tails at no cost but when I took a magpie to them they clipped a wing incorrectly which caused the bird to land badly and hurt a leg. When this happened a second time the poor little magpie could no longer walk and eventually died badly - My 6 year old daughter and I were very upset by this, I had always wanted a maggie for a pet since I was a young and this baby bird had an awesome character and was part of our family.
We also have a German Shepard that got her tail caught in the gate and degloved the tip. $900.00 later on a Saturday afternoon thank-you-very-much-for-coming and they are telling me how the dog needs this product and that product and if I don't buy them what a bad dog owner I am.
That brings me to the biggest peeve - this business is always trying to sell you stuff - they care more about you buying accessories and other products than caring for your pets. The prices are way more expensive than the other pet and garden stores a few minutes drive away.
I did by an ear irrigation product for our dog that they claimed I must use weekly and when I did use it the dog got ear infections in both ears immediately after use that then need treatment with antibiotics.
The vet of course claimed it couldn't possibly be the product they recommended and they were in no way responsible - just an amasing coincidence that there were no ear problems before the product and there have been none since not using it anymore!!!
We now drive to Edgewater where we have found a vet not quite so commercially motivated.
