I've shopped here a few times in preparation for our baby's arrival. The product range is excellent with pretty competitive prices. When purchasing several big furniture items we were able to negotiate a discount. Service is a bit hit and miss depending upon the day. Sometimes you get served quickly while other times you stand waiting to purchase your items for a while while the store attendants are busy helping other customers around the store. Baby Bunting's discount loyalty card is a bonus.
A lovely evening dining in at Gennaro's eating simply delicious pizza made with fresh ingredients and crunchy thin crust dough cooked in a wood fired oven. Service was excellent, warm dining room heated by a gas fire, upholstered chairs, dome shaped wood fired oven in full view so you could see your pizza being prepared and cooked.

We were seated quickly and offered drinks. There were plenty of waiting staff who gave us time to read the menus before taking our orders. The food came out quickly and almost all at once for a group of 10 (pretty good). And the serves were HUMUNGOUS!!! Certainly the quality of food was great; hot, tasty, well cooked and well presented. The only thing that I found unpleasant was the music - it just seemed to get louder as the evening wore on. We had to almost yell to hear each other at the end of the night.

While this mechanic's shopfront and outward appearance might not be as shiny and well presented as other businesses, the owners of the business and the quality of the workmanship more than makes up for it. Mick is honest, his work is well-priced and he is respectful to his customers. He is the mechanic to approach if you have an older car and you want repairs to keep your car on the road without spending huge amounts of money or being told to get rid of the car and buy a new one. And if you're a woman, you will be treated well rather than being talked down to because it's a "boys club".
I have had my older Nissan Pulsar serviced here on many occasions and have been more than happy with the quality of the work and the advice I have been given to keep my car on the road without spending vast amounts of money. Serge has been most accommodating on a couple of occasions by fitting my car in for urgent repairs when I have had break-downs. The staff at this mechanics are friendly, polite and importantly treat me with respect as a woman rather than talking down to me or behaving like I know nothing about cars because I'm a female. I can always get my car in for a service within a few days of ringing up and it is always ready on time.
My partner and I had our Holden serviced at Watson Holden in January. In addition to the logbook service, we asked them to remove a hands-free car kit (left over from the previous owner). This took longer than expected leaving us sitting waiting to collect our car for an hour after we had arranged to collect the car. The price for the service was very high but we quickly discovered that while removing the hands-free car kit, the mechanic had managed to disconnect a cable relating to the air conditioner! While they rectified this fault it required another visit and wasted time.
I rung up today to price a routine service for the same car and was treated like an idiot by the men working there. They didn't listen to me and I felt that as a woman they automatically assumed that I knew nothing about cars and when I said I would check with my partner about a particular detail about the car, they made a comment that implied that they would be better off speaking to him instead of me.
After all that their price for service is more expensive than for the same service at a local K-mart Tyre and Auto Centre where I was treated with respect and courtesy. I know where we will be getting the Holden serviced from now on!

I have dined at the Greensborough Hotel Bistro several times before but my most recent dining experience leaves me not wanting to return.
My booking was for 7:30 in the middle of evening service. The meals took a long time to emerge and the quality was poor. My bruschetta: the bread had not been grilled so it was cold and the topping had completely soaked the bread till it was soggy and unpleasant. My "Scotch Fillet" was actually a Porterhouse and the chips were luke-warm. Our dirty dishes were left on our tables for 10 minutes while waitresses cleaned and re-arranged vacant tables for the next day.

I discovered the Hahndorf Candlemaker a few years ago and was delighted with his candles. They actually smell different to each other - most candle shops you go into have a range of candles, but they all end up smelling much the same. Some of the gigantic candles on display in the shop make amazing wax sculptures as they burn down. I don't like in SA any more, but I always get family to buy me a candle and bring it over on holidays for me. You can also order your favourite candles online at the Hahndorf Candlemaker website.
This pet shop stocks only the very best food, pet toys & accessories and health products. They DO NOT SELL PUPPIES AND KITTENS and have not done so for 15 years. Pet shops that NO NOT sell puppies and kittens recognise that these companion animals are best sold by registered breeders who can cater properly for their physical and social needs. Pet shops that sell puppies and kittens encourage the indiscriminate breeding of these animals in Puppy and Kitten Mills and by backyard breeders - people and places who do not care for the health and temperament of the animals they breed from or produce.
Plenty for Pets has a broad range of premium pet foods (Advance, Hills, Royal Canin, IAMS/Eukanuba, Nutrience) and sells great brands such as Snooza Pet Products, Kong, Everlasting Treat Balls and quality flea/worming products such as Revolution, Frontline, Advocate and Drontal.
The prices are generally recommended retail and there are usually a few great specials on offer.

The chicken is the best and I love the rice stuffing they use. I prefer to buy my chickens from Bolton Street because I'm supporting the production of chemical free chickens. I really like their layered potato bake and they have a great range of fresh salads. You can also get baklava and turkish delight, gelati and take home fresh pasta packs. It gets very busy in the evenings and it pays to have a menu at home and ring your order through 15 minutes in advance before you drive up.
