Excellent pizzas! Very definitely what you would class as gourmet. The Mediterranean lamb pizza is my absolute favorite pizza. A bit more expensive than most pizza places but worth it =)

Excellent food! Nice little family run business so you feel at home. Food is authentic and absolutely exquisite!

Great little seafood restaurant in Caringbah. Excellent food - really nice atmosphere since the renovations. Seafood platter is excellent - well suited to a special occasion =)

Gymea Pub - great food but probably a bit above normal pub prices. Look out for Monday night steak special - $10 for a t-bone with chips and salad - awesome value.

Asakusa is a great little japanese restaurant in Newtown. The Bento boxes are great value if you want just a little of everything. The hots pots are always fun too!

The dumplings are awesome! Lunch specials are great value for money at only $6.80. New hot spot in newtown - may want to book ahead if going for dinner

Food at the marly bar is always good quality but pretty pricey. Service is good and the place has a nice vibe for after work drinks.

Thai La-Ong offers great value lunch specials - all things on the menu are only $6!! Great quality food - always busy so sometimes the service suffers but nonetheless a great place to eat

The Royal hotel offers a great $8 steak (with chips and salad) - value you can't beat.
Other dishes on the menu are a bit more pricey. Good value $8 jugs of beer for uni students!

Amazing value for money - all the dishes on the menu are awesome! Great little find in Newtown for a cheap meal!
