My husband often visits Dome with our grandson for breakfast, raves about it. Good value for money. I go occasionally for a hot chocolate and raisin toast, love it, but you have to ask especially for the hot chocolate to be hot, as often it isn't. However, I find a lot of cafes have that problem. Service is always good, friendly and as quick as possible for such a busy place. Clean and very well run eatery.

I have not bought anything in this new shop, but have browsed around, and whenever I need a gift, it will be the place to go. Fabulous selection of coffees and teas, plus all the bits and pieces to go with making tea and coffee. It is a lovely shop, well stocked and laid out, a pleasure to go into.

Always a pleasure to shop here, extremely friendly service, my local newsagent, who doesn't take advantage of the fact. His range of magazines is so good, you can spend a long time there choosing, or just browsing. I love the selection of greetings cards as well, and will go there whenever I need one. Overall, a very good shop, I like it!

My local pharmacy, very busy, and excessively slow, service poor and not particularly friendly. We did get a prescription filled there a couple of months ago, and the dosage of the tablets was twice that which was prescribed, a serious mistake, which fortunately WE noticed and took them back. Their prices are average for pharmacies, unfortunately for them, we have found a cheaper one in Midland and now go there. Later addition. Filled a prescription yesterday, cost $17.50 at Mundaring. Exactly the same at Terry White, Midland Gate - $9.95!!! It was even worth the petrol to go to Midland to get the tablets. My, my!

We ordered a security flyscreen door, took a few weeks for the man to come and measure up for it, and then several more weeks for the door to be fitted. We have also had another job measured up, several weeks ago, and have since heard nothing. This is a big job and will cost several hundreds of dollars, so I would have thought they would have given us better service than this. It is now September, and we have still not heard anything from them about a quote. Obviously they are not interested. Ah well, there is always someone else who will be interested.

Popped in for lunch, very friendly greeting. Lovely setting overlooking the vineyards. We were offered wine tasting before eating, chose a delicious bottle of shiraz, then sat down to order lunch. I had one of their specials, a coq au vin, served with a baked potato and vegetables, very nice. My husband had a beef pie with the same accompaniments, and he said it was really good. We talked to the owners about the place and learned some of the history, met the cook, and overall had a most pleasant experience.

A busy business, very well run. Staff always cheerful, service excellent and fast. Quality of the food is very good, we love going there on our way home from shopping for a quick cuppa and a slice of raisin toast. We have not eaten any meals there but seen others with meals, they look very appetising and delicious. By the number of customers there is no doubt a popular place in Swan View.

We often visit the Loose Box, but only for a treat, don't want to spoil ourselves!! The food is outstanding, service wonderful, you are met and greeted in a professional and very friendly manner and this continues throughout the meal. The appearance of every course is an adventure, the delight in the appearance, it is certainly an art form, and the taste is always sublime. Love it to bits, and will always support this our favourite local restaurant.

Since the new owners have taken over I have been twice. The first time it was really lovely, the fish cooked perfectly and the chips were freshly cooked. The second time, it was at 5.00pm (their opening time) and I had rung to pre-order the food. Carrying the parcels out to the car, grease dripped down from the paper on to my clothes!! Not just a drop either. When we ate the food at home, the chips tasted stale and tough, as if they had been left over from the day before and then reheated. The fish was sloppy and extremely greasy. I will hesitate to go back. The place has since closed (and are we surprised?), and a music shop has taken its place. So. no fish and chips for Mundaring any more, how sad!

The meat is fabulous, all organic and free range. Service is second to none, always a smile, a greeting and a farewell. I first went there to purchase chicken frames to feed to my dogs, and needed a certain size for each feed. I collect them each week, bagged ready for each meal and frozen. Just what I wanted, the rest of the meat I buy there is always good quality. Love it!
