Hubby's piano is his baby, so there is no way we would trust moving it without a specialist Piano Mover, even though our furniture removalist said they could do it for an extra $100. Our Piano tuner recommended Simon at Classic Piano carriers and him and his off sider were fantastic. They had all the equipment to easily & smoothly move down the steps from our house load it in their van and transport to our new place. Once they arrived they had the piano up the steps and placed exactly where we wanted it within 15-20 minutes max. Great to deal with excellent value We wouldn't trust anyone else.

I had the misfortune of engaging another company to steam clean my carpets they really didn't seem to take much more than half an hour for 6 rooms and the next morning I came back and it honestly looked like it had been vacuumed only and nothing else. As it was a rental property & I had already moved out to the northern suburbs, I did not have time to muck around My real estate agent gave me VISART CLEANING' s number and they came out the next morning, this was time critical as new tenants were moving in and I really didn't want the same person doing the job.
The difference was huge, The cleaners from Visart took over an hour and cleaned all areas of the carpet including where the furniture stood and I could see the difference straight away, plus they only charged $120 FOR 6 ROOMS, compared to the previous job where I was charged $220 for 6 rooms.

I have used Donnellans at Box Hill in the past for basic service, replacement of rear shocks, replacement of front brakes and always been very satisfied with all their work and reasonable prices. As they have now moved to Blackburn it's just as easy to still take my car for servicing. When I needed all 4 tyres replacing on my car, I rang two other tyre places before calling Donnellans and, they were still the best price & quality by far. Open 6 days meant I could get the work done Saturday morning, it took less than an hour & included a wheel alignment. Extremely happy with price and service and lookout for their shopper dockets service specials

I arranged to have an automatic transmission service on my car, as they advertise as being specialists. I found both Pete & Harry to be fantastic & as a woman I was really pleased at their attitude, as some mechanics can be very condescending, this was not the case. After giving them my rego they were able to look up the details of my car, a 2000 model car with very low klms, so they were sure they had everything needed & would not have to waste time getting any parts in. I was then able to drop my car off at 6.45 am and leave the keys in an envelope under the door, so no work time lost. The work was completed by 11 am and my hubby picked up the car, but I had until 5.30 pm to collect anyway. We were very pleased with the work and also the price was very good. I would definitely use them again and an added bonus is they give 12 months warranty. Top marks.

Early morning on my way to work, I need my coffee. I step off the tram at the corner of Victoria & Church st (away from the dodgy end of Victoria st and Holla is right there. I usually get
a large latte & sometimes a muffin to take away. It is a fully licenced cafe they roast their own speciality coffee as well as serve up some top notch cafe food. The menu is always changing & they are always busy. Reasonably priced Holla Burgers for lunch YUMM!! The staff is always friendly, they have a rewards card for coffee purchases where every 10th coffee is free. Check it out a nice change from the countless vietnamese offerings in the area.

I purchased a new Piano & my first tune was free with Michael Whitney. Yesterday Michael tuned my piano for the first time . He is a true professional and a really nice fellow. He spent a couple of hours at my home, making sure the piano was perfect, answered all my silly questions and did a great job, it sounds great. I've already booked him in for the next tune in late November. He is an Australasian Registered Piano Technician, a second generation Piano Technician & even tuned David Helfgott's piano when he performed in Melbourne earlier this year.
I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to get a piano tuned.

Best Discounts in Melbourne. We went looking for a new piano which is a big $$ purchase for our family. After much research we came across Pat's Music. This was not the closest music store to us, however they seem to have the best range at reasonable prices. We spoke to Kate and she was most knowledgeable and very patient with our many questions. We visited last Saturday and they were having a sale . We ended up buying a new piano and got an extra $500 off the sale price, which gave us easily the best discount available in Melbourne. I would highly recommend Pat's Music for anyone looking to buy a musical instrument. Their staff are excellent and you will not be disappointed.

First time I have used Ray's. I was looking for a different sort of gift for my sister's birthday as she's had a tough year. I live in Melbourne, she in Sydney. When I decided to send her a Peace Lily I spoke to Connie at Ray's, she was very helpful and ordering & payment was very easy. The plant arrived on her birthday in the morning, looked terrific and she loved it.

We have four large lemon trees and did a massive prune on each of them, so we had a yard full of branches leaves etc, with no ute or box trailer, the day before Melb cup. Approx 1.5 cbm wer asked a fellow from a well know garden franchise, who quoted us $350 to move it, one fellow from the local paper who wouldn't look at it for under $250, it wouldn't be for a week and was very rude. I called and spoke to Angelo and he sent Joel around at 6.30 pm that day. He looked at the job and said he could do it straight away quoting $200 then gave us $20 seniors discount. We said fantastic & off he went. He was very fast, needed no assistance and was finished in no time, and the grounds were perfect. It saved us lot of time, probably $100 in tip fees and Joel was a really nice young man. As well as rubbish removal they do excavating and demolition. I was looking for a Fathers day gift for the Dad who has everything and came across their website. Great ideas, not too expensive and great customer service. I ordered a gift online on Monday afternoon, paid by credit card and it was delivered to my Dad on Wednesday afternoon via Aust Express Post. He opened it early and loved it. I also ordered a gift for hubby which had to be engraved. I did not expect that to arrive this week but just received notification from Aust Post it's being delivered today. Fantastic will definately being using them again.
