I had a few things that needed to be fixed (damaged exhaust fan, faulty lightswitch and faulty downlight transformer) and I gave Maccora Electrics a call. They were able to drop by the next day, and they were courteous enough to give me a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival. They finished the job efficiently (about 30 minutes) and they also cleaned up the dust that fell from the ceiling and exhaust fan.

We have taken our dogs to Johnston Street Veterinary Clinic a few times to get them groomed and we have been very satisfied with the results. Our dogs are quite fussy and active, yet the friendly and competent staff at JSVC are able to handle them. They come back looking gorgeous and they don’t get any nicks or cuts that are usually common with hyperactive dogs. They also have ample parking, and the clinic looks more like a café! :)

We take our dogs to Dr Julian for their annual vaccination, and they were also neutered when they were a few months old. Dr Julian and his staff are very warm and friendly, and it’s always a pleasure seeing them again. He is really passionate about animals and helping people understand animals; no question is ever too dumb, and he actually takes the time to go into detail. I’ve seen him a couple of times at pet stores and he’s always friendly too.

I have been to Milk and Honey four times in the last 5 months and definitely recommend this place if you would like a remedial massage in a more spa-like environment. You are greeted with a warm herbal tea and a glass of water prior to treatment, and the relaxing music is soothing and helps you take your mind off things. The treatment is really good as they’re able to combine a variety of techniques from relaxation and remedial type massages to cater to your needs. Hats off to Katie and Jo for their outstanding service! It might be hard contacting them on the phone as they’re usually busy with clients but I’ve found that they respond to emails very promptly.

I went to see Dr Philip Hill in January 2015 for a scale and clean as part of my Medibank benefit and found him to be a very knowledgeable and experienced dentist. He was able to look past just the immediate symptoms and diagnose the underlying issue. When he saw that I had microcavities, he suggested that I could have acid reflux, which I never realised until I thought about it. He also performed one minor filling, and his treatment was quite conservative in that he did not want to unnecessarily remove tooth structure prematurely. He has a friendly team of staff as well, and his fees are very reasonable.
