Valentine's Day- beautiful little restaurant, awesome fresh food, lovely waitstaff, decent prices. A new favorite.
Approximate cost: $20
I brought some jewelery here, it was cheap. While I was waiting another customer asked the head piercer if she did a piercing commonly known in body modification culture, the piercer had no idea what she was talking about. They wouldn't do a taper insertion for me, from a 14GA to a 12GA because it was 'too risky'- they still sold me the stuff I needed to DIY. I don't care about the cheap silver jewelery, I won't shop there again and there's no way I'd recommend it to someone wanting a piercing.
I do love their products- I had a sample pack and it smelt so good and I was looking forward to see how it went since I'm really starting to love organic products. Unfortunately it didn't really seem to 'go' with my skin, I felt oily and oilier after using the combination skin pack. A little moisturizer went a long way so that means value to me. I love the mascara!!!
The mineral baths are great but the staff are a bit rude, they're really cheap and you get what you pay for.
My friend was taken to a room 15 minutes before I was, and finished up as I was finishing my extra treatment so she had at least an extra 30 minutes for her massage/facial despite us both getting the same special. She was satisfied with her treatments. I had a sugar scrub as well, which was lovely. I had an awful experience otherwise- the 'hydrating' facial made my skin peel and break out the following week due to over exfoliation and light chemical burns from the mask I had to ask the therapist several times to remove. The Swedish massage was very poorly done to the extent my back ached for days afterwards.
Had the owner/manager replied to my emailed complaint with an offer to refund the massage/facial or do them again I would have given them another go, but it took almost two months of contacting them and a rather lengthy discussion that seemed to go in circles before I was refunded the price of my facial.
Approximate cost: $150
I had a massage and facial, very relaxing and professional. A bit on the pricey side but I think I definitely got what I paid for.
I find the staff at BPH always friendly and helpful, happy to give advice, the prices are great and my dog loves to come for a visit. The $10 hydrobath on weekends is awesome too.
I have two cats who have been going to see this vet all their lives (4 years). I adopted an adult dog a few months ago and he was very helpful with some questions I had, even the silly ones, and was most helpful with giving me some advice to help her settle in.
I love to look up reviews before I buy, and this is the easiest site to access trusted reviewers. You can't always trust the randoms on other sites.
I've been here three times, the first time I had a gift card for a facial and it was very relaxing but didn't do much for my skin. The second time I had a face wax, overpriced but fair results. The third time I had a full leg and g-string wax- it was the most painful wax I've ever had and massive strips were missed. I was refunded my money when I came back the next day to show the manager.
Nice staff, but I don't love the salon and feel like they could do with better training.
