This orchard has been going for over a century. They regularly offer tours and tastings with over 100 apple varieties. It also includes a cafe and rustic playground. It's subsequently a charming spot to chill out for the afternoon with your family as the kids can explore the surroundings.
A great candy store that has been in the area for many years. We usually include a stop in here when visiting Warrandyte for a walk past the river. They have a great range of typical and international lollies and sodas.
I dined here today as I was meeting friends at Pana Chocolate afterwards (a few doors up). The restaurant was gorgeously open with a large bar, private dining room and interesting artwork decorating it's walls. The service staff were extremely attentive and patient considering I had a three year old not as eager to enjoy a meal as I was. They provided a gluten free menu for my friend and courtesy house made quinoa bread for her as well. Our meals were delicious, perfectly cooked and filling. I visited here with the use of an entertainment voucher and will certainly be back.

This restaurant has jumped up the list to one of my favourites in Melbourne due to its ethical nature. the restaurant decor resembles that of a science experiment with interesting chains, globes and various art sculptures. They even have you drinking from beakers. The food is 99% organic and 70% vegan and served as a 12 course degustation. Menu is based on whatever is in season from local growers. The food was divine. Absolutely Every dish. A very enjoyable experience.

With a change of owners this place is looking and running wonderfully. It's set in trendy prahran and boasts the sale of fresh organ produce at the back, pantry staples, delicious desserts and the best vegetarian lasagne around! We tried another meal too but I cannot for the life of me recall what it was. They also do almond milk lattes. yum!
So absolutely awesome to have such a great vegetarian restaurant in the suburbs. Vegan options too. Great cakes and lovely teas.
I second that the macaroons are to die for. I haven't tried a meal here, just desserts, teas and smoothies but I would recommend it from that. Also very interested in trying one of their raw food 'cooking' classes.
An absolute must try! Such a hidden treasure with their delicious yoghurt's and healthy meal and snack options. They can also be found in the entertainment book for a healthy discount for anyone wanting to give it a go.
One of my very favourite vegan eateries, where the 'pay what you feel' system is established as a not for profit venture. In short, you pay what you feel your meal and experience is worth. It also offers those that cannot afford to eat out (or at all), the opportunity to be fed which is why its always good to give a few dollars extra, or more if you can afford. The meals are surprisingly delicious and it's a self serve which is great for families. Everything changes daily and will feature whatever is in season.
I was a little unimpressed with the Boat shed. I had heard a lot from friends but my visit didn't live up to expectations. It's a nice spot but the service and food quality doesnt match the food quality. Still a nice spot but just not fine-dining.
