Nice food, although not exceptional. Good coffee. Polite staff. High chairs available for kiddies and space for prams outside. This place gets busy so be prepared for a wait if you don't have a booking.

This place is trying to be a pretentious bar in a university neighbourhood. Slow service and seem to be incapable of handling the lunch time rush.

I have bought property through SDRE and also use their property management department to manage my rental properties. Great, personal service. I would use them again without hesitation.

Went there on a Thursday night and it was pretty busy. Even though we had a booking we had to wait outside for 20 min and a party with the same number of people who just turned up without a booking got seated ahead of us. Even though they knew they made a mistake they didn't even try and make up for it in any way. Food is ok, but not sure it's worth going back for with service like that.

Service here is excellent. The women learn the names of their regular customers and are always very friendly.

The service here is terrible. Maybe because they feel they have a monopoly on the Carlisle area, but I for one, won't be going back.

Fantastic bakery. These guys sell excellent stuff at good prices. The rolls and pies are top notch and if you want a lunch roll made up special - no problems!

Excellent fruit and veg store. Always a great range of fresh produce as well as lots of loose product (spices, grains, cereals). Some more gourmet/exotic products too. Excellent for people who like to experiment with cooking.
