Tommys has been around for what seems like forever! Its a little corner shop which sells great fish and chips and hamburgers. Its a family owned business thats built its reputation on fresh food and great friendly service! The owners are always smiling and ready to have a bit of a laugh with you. Lots of local loyal customers and they have stood the test of time for sure! Love their hand made chips!

Kondakis is one of the best places in the Illawarra to buy fresh seafood. Everything is always really fresh and I have never had anything bad from them. The prices are reasonable too, not overpriced and everything is fresh not frozen like some fishmongers. The service is always good and they are very helpful say if you cant decide on a type of fish for a certain dish etc. They will give you advice on whats good. Highly recommend them.

Love Aish's Seafood. They have the very best fish and chips around. The fish is always very fresh, nice thick pieces, cooked in the best crunchy batter. They also have the usual fish and chip shop foods as well like fish cakes, battered savs but I always have the fish. Chips are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Prices are reasonable too and the service is always fast and friendly. We usually phone ahead and order and its almost always ready for pickup so no waiting! Best fish and chips in town!

When we go on holiday we always look for a pet friendly place to stay as we hate leaving our girl at home. We stayed here at Shellharbour Beachside for a week last summer. Great place to stay. You can choose from a powered site, on-suite cabin or a self contained cottage. The views are gorgeous over the harbour and ocean. The cottage we rented was clean and well appointed with cooking facilities, but the park is close to Shellharbour village shops also so plenty of take out food if you dont want to cook. There is a playground for the kiddies and excellent facilities. You have to make prior arrangements to take your pet so dont forget to let them know when you book. Highly recommend this Tourist Park. Oh prices are fairly reasonable. A powered site starts at $30 going up to $240 for a self contained cottage.

I was taken to the Star Buffet for my birthday lunch recently and was really disappointed! I have been here before many times and had excellent food (when it was Bon Appetit). This time however it was terrible! All the food was dry and tasteless. The fish was like cardboard. There was a very limited variety of dishes, no seafood except for the dried out fish. The asian dishes were bland. About the only thing that was ok were the veges and salad and there wasnt much of that either! All in all a very disappointing meal! Not worth the 25 dollars at all. I wont be going back.

We love this restaurant! We cant afford to go very often as the prices are quite steep but the seafood is so fresh, the service is excellent, the view over the lagoon is spectacular and the dishes are just amazing! I always have the seafood platter which is just loaded with fresh and hot seafoods. Its around 150 dollars but worth every cent if you want to spoil yourself! The mains start from 35 dollars so as I said it isnt cheap but the atmosphere is lovely and we have never ever had a bad experience there. I wish I could eat there every day! The staff are attentive but dont rush you. Between courses you can have a seat outside and just soak in the view. It really is a great experience. (especially if you are on a date!)

I went to Windjammers the other night for the first time in quite a while. Its still great! I went on a seafood buffet night. $35 per head. The variety is great lots of fresh prawns and crab and lots of hot seafood dishes also. they also have pasta ,soup, salads, vegetabe dishes, and fruit. The service is good and the bain maries are refilled constantly so everything is fresh. Its really good value for money especially on the weekend when there is more seafood. Kids are welcome and they dont try to rush you out like some buffet places. We will be going back.

What an experience! I cant tell you how much exactly this cost as my son won 2 dives in a sports club raffle. But oh what a trip it was! Fantastic. The bus took us up the mountain to the start point (Stanwell Park) and we landed in Stuart Park Nth Wollongong. The instructors are all highly qualified and went out of their way to make you feel extremely comfortable (which I needed because I was petrified!) They give you instructions before you take off. It was exhilarating! And a bonus is the instructor has a camera attached to his arm which films the whole ride so you can purchase a dvd or photos to show your disbelieving friends and prove you were brave enough! Seriously though it really was the experience of a lifetime, like being a bird flying through the sky! The staff are lovely, helpful and kind. If you like a bit of adventure I recommend these guys. So memorable!

Summer is on the way! And this little kiosk is the best for snacks when you are at the beach. The standard fare such as fish and chips, hotdogs etc. But the quality is really good. The girls that work there are nice and friendly and the service is fast! Expect to line up because they are always busy but the line seems to move quickly. They have hot chips for 3 dollars a bucket and fish is between 3 to 5 dollars a piece. We always have lunch here when we have a day at the beach. There are outdoor tables with umbrellas to sit at or you can sit on the grass area around 30 metres from the ocean.

Love Curry Village. We ordered online for delivery last night and the food was wonderful. Minimum order for delivery is $35. We had a beef Masaman curry, a vegetable Korma, Rice and Samosas for entree. Everything was delicious. Open for lunch and dinner to eat in but delivery is only for dinner from 5pm till 9.30pm. The girl on the phone was friendly and the delivery was only 40 minutes. I havent eaten in here as yet but the delivery service is excellent and the food yummy!
