I come down the the Arcadia almost every tuesday for the poker night. This pub has a great atmosphere, staff are friendly and they've got a smoking area. The food here is reasonably priced and the beers are around $8 a pint which is pretty good.

This place is so cool! you choose what flavour ice cream you want and then you watch a little science show of your ice cream is being made. Staff are really friendly and you can tell they love their job. The ice cream is pretty cheap as well! Definitely check this one out!!

Took the missus out for dinner at Chin Chin, it was recommended by a friend who said it was really good.
Firstly the staff are by far one of the friendly bunches i have come across in a restaurant. And the range of dishes on the menu was amazing! Food was on the table within 20 minutes of ordering and the quality of the food was perfect.
Highly Recommend!

Went for dinner and drinks last night, they have this special on at the moment, where you download an app (Aston Club) and you get $50 credit at lucky coq so my friends and i went down here and got $150 of food (pizzas $4) and drinks without even spending a cent. Check this place out quickly! Staff are super friendly but you made need to wait a little while for the food (this place gets busy).

Feels like you've walked into and outback pub in a tin shed! Everything about this place is great the atmosphere, the staff, the music, the cocktails and most importantly the food. I had the steak topped with the bacon butter it was cooked perfectly rare, the flavour was amazing. Definitely check this one out!!

I have stayed at this hotel located directly across from Southern Cross Station a couple of times whilst have family stay here. The rooms are slightly bigger that your average (For staying at a hotel on budget) comes with t.v and the breakfast down stairs is reasonably priced at $20 but there is quite a lot on offer. This hotel isnt bad at all for what you pay, definitely better than some hotels a few doors down!!

This is the best place i think in Melbourne to get a Banh Mi(asian roll with meat, coriander, carrot etc. (around $6-9)). They have all different kinds on Banh Mi, chicken, bbq roast pork, duck etc. But the one thing that is different at this place is the Vietnamese coffee(made with condensed milk) they do (available iced or hot). This coffee is the tastiest coffee i have ever had in Melbourne and they only cost $4.5. This place is cheap and everything on the menu is very tasty. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR THE BEST ICED COFFEE!

This little pizza place my girlfriend and I frequent quite often, mainly when its late and we cant be bothered going to the shops to make dinner. These guys have some great specials on everynight, and large pizzas are aroung $10 each. I suggest you guys trying the rossi special, its DELICIOUS!
Check this one out when you cant be bothered making dinner.

Went down to the Burmese kitchen for dinner last night. I am half Burmese and it has been a while since i've got back to my roots and it was totally worth it! This little restaurant is well priced (between $12-30) for a main and is great if you haven't tried any traditional Burmese dining.

Had a bouquet delivered to the girlfriend at work, the flowers were amazing, my girlfriend was over the moon. The service on the phone was good but felt slightly rushed otherwise would visit once again!
