This restaurant caught my eye when I was last in Newtown. You don't find African food everywhere! Great decor and the food is very good. Well worth a visit.

This pub offers up very nice meals at a reasonable price. Located in an historic old building it also has lovely surroundings. Very comfortable to jsut sit and have a drink or for lunch.

I enjoy going to this cinema. It is near the station, and I have never found difficulty parking if I drive. The decor is nice, and I like the fact that they show 'different' films to the larger chains.

A good place for both adults and kids. Informative talks about the animals, so it is educational for kids. Have taken my grandkids here twice, and they have enjoyed themselves.

I have bought a number of products here for my wife who likes to paint. Good range, and reasonable prices.

This is a huge park and is great for just walking or having a family picnic. They have a number of themed gardens. Park on the road if you can, as I have been charged quite a bit to park inside. Gets packed on weekends.

This is a great place to take kids. Not huge, but lots to look at. Last time I was there they also had a snake education program on.
