Slow service with being told nearly 1/2 hr wait on a takeaway coffee - because it was close to the playground I did order and did wait all this time but it should be obvious if you are near a kids playground that coffee is going to be popular and you need more staff!
Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was really good - I loved the music that was playing. The menu had a good variety and the prices were very affordable. The food tasted awesome!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Best of all the views of the harbour were just stunning.
nice quaint little cafe. coffee was good and food was nice. staff were a little bit slow and took a bit for them to serve us but were really friendly. would go there again.
Went there for coffee and breakfast this morning. My husband ordered a flat white and got given a cappuccino without the chocolate - they happily replaced it. However after ordering we had to wait for over 40 minutes for two breakfasts. Then before we had even taken a mouthful they put the bill down on the table - didn't say anything like "here's your bill" or is there anything else we can get you. We wanted to get a drink for my daughter but weren't even asked. definetly not good table service. my husbands food had been partially microwaved which isn't good for a nearly $20 breakfast - you expect fresh cooked. Definetly would not go back.
the place could do with a bit of a spruce up as hasn't undergone a refurbishment in years and have gotten quite pricey for ice cream. However do offer a unique range of gourmet ice cream and dessert treats and is a must when vist the area.
would definetly not recommend. the food was bland and cold when it came out, when complained we were told by owner that we shouldn't order something we don't like then just complain (I do usually enjoy carbonara but not theirs!). Reluctantly gave us a refund. meals were overpriced for the quality.
the coffee was quite good, service was quick and staff were friendly enough. would have been better if the staff hadn't been talking about a potential staff member who came in for a trial in front of customers. not very professional
Oyster lovers rejoice!!! beautiful oysters at cheap prices in a number of variations. They were freshly shucked and brought to our table. The bar is great with affordable cocktails and happy hours. The food was delicious and prepared to be served between the group at the table. Across the road from the beach and park. Small venue but a great little niche venue.
Great atmosphere and quaint little place to enjoy a coffee and a cafe style meal. Good prices and the food was really nice too with decent size meals. Coffee was really nice as well. Would come back again but not a suitable venue for kids due to the stairs so would be coffee date with hubby or meal with friends only.
the staff were very friendly and the meals were affordable for the venue. coffee was really nice. bacon and egg burger - the bacon was overcooked and the eggs were rubbery so wasn't too fussed on it.
