Greeted by friendly staff. We were one of the first to arrive but by the end of the night it was clear that the restaurant was understaffed. The meal was beautiful however I thought it was overpriced for what it was. Our first drinks were served with in 5 minutes of being seated but after that it was quicker to go to the bar rather than wait for someone to take our orders. The kids room is a great touch and the tv was a camera view of the play room for parents to keep an eye on their kids.
Fresh fish. Fresh clean oil. Friendly staff greeting you with a smile. Was very very busy but it was peak summer season and is not only a fish and chip shop but a minimalistic milk bar as well. The minimum chips was barely enough to feed 2 adults who also had hand cut potato cakes and a piece of flake each. Flake was beautiful.
A Variety of Chinese food freshly cooked. Their Chicken and Corn soup was to die for. Some of the items I felt were slightly over priced. Parking is available out the front. They do not have Eftpos facilities and if you spent over $20 you did receive a free bag of prawn crackers. The staff were very friendly.
Whilst the food is nice and very reasonably priced, the service by the lady at the till was disgusting! Chewing on gum like a cow and barking orders at the barmaid for drinks. She was very rude and snatched the money out of my hand. Was even more unimpressed when I took my drink back as the glass I was given had a large crack in it and was leaking and I was abused for being fussy.
OMG! The portion sizes at this friendly brightly coloured eatery are enormous! Have eaten here at least once a week for the previous year and they never disappoint. With on street, restaurant or courtyard dining available there is always a spare seat!
The best value for money sit down meal available in town. The pasta bar is by far the better option on the menu. $12 and u get a soup bowl and a main meals plate and you serve your self from the buffet. You can go back for more if you desire. Then once you finished take you receipt up to the cashier and you get another bowl for the dessert bar! If you make a group booking for a birthday party a cake can be supplied upon request. Only down side is the locals have clued onto this eatery so can be full!
Great meals and value for money. Fast service from friendly waitresses. The restaurant was rather noisy though. The Irish pub next door had a band playing so people were trying to talk over the top of the music. The toilets did however need a service.
This Restaurant is one of the best out there! Friendly faces greet you at the door. They do their best to accommodate every bodies needs from dietary requirements to disabilities. They cater for Birthday parties, small to medium weddings. They have complimentary live music Friday and Saturday nights. But the best bit is for a small fee ( around $5 ) the whole restaurant menu can be home delivered! Score!!
I ate in at the restaurant and the waitress we were being served by was very rude. Slapped plates down on table then scoffed when I complained that the pasta was cold and not cooked properly. The food was over priced for what it was. The pizza was nice how ever when we didn't finish it we wanted to take it home and we were asked to pay a boxing charge! Needless to say we left it there.
Great pizza. Nice fresh dough bases. Was more than willing to accommodate some fussy eaters. Friendly family environment when sitting in. Taste even better eating in the car watching a storm roll in over Pea Soup!!
