Well I must admit , the illuminated lantern facade at the entrance does attract you to this place however not all of the food is great, however i think the noodles are a must try perfect size and perfectly cooked
This restaurant in surry hills has it all : great chef with lots of awards and as far as i know a chef that appeared on master chef. awesome modern chinese cuisine with an 8 course banquet available for 79 dollars
The first good thing about this place is the way you order food , and that's via ipads. you get extremely asian looking unique pots and you can take the buffet deal for 30 dollars pp. Do order the buffet because you get a big range of food to try
obviously the name of the place does highlights the advantage of this place ! pharmacy and newsagency at the same time ! also it is on anzac parade so technically on the way to university for unsw people
If you're sick of the unsw campus and would like to drink a good coffee somewhere close so you be able to return to your classes on time that is the place to go to. Good coffee , good value , nice people , always full
As far as I know this bake house opened newly in the birkenhead point shopping center. It is situated on the ground level and offers different varieties of cake. My friend who went with me is gluten intolerant and was able to have gluten free cake. Good place , or average in the worst days
The big advantage with this cafe is its location on level 2 and the comfort and view you get from the birkenhead point center compared to the horrible food court at the ground level. I had hot chocolate there and it was really good.
Even though this place sells pizzas, pasta and pastries , I went there because they have the lavazza coffee and had a cup of coffee. coffee tastes normal lavazza , so right place to go if you like it. The downside is that you have to sit in a very busy and sometimes unclean food court
This warehouse accomodates all the stuff that cannot be sold at the normal david jones stores. I personally get a hard time browsing in the store because it is very very messy and there is not much staff to help. However if you spend time searching and are after clothing , glasswear you might be able to find a bargain (not always though). the last time i passed by i was able to get shorts and tshirts for my little cousin at discounted prices
If your gf likes coloured swimwear and doesnt know where she should go that would be a good place. Mainly selling ladies swimwear , this small shop is very colourful and sells different kinds of swimwear at ok prices (not super cheap though). I personally went with my gf but we didnt find anything for her
