The view looking down across the golf course and over the ocean is superb, team that with a beer in one hand on the deck of the golf club and you've got the best place to be at sunset on LHI. The meals are huge and cheap as chips.

There are so many good places to eat on Lord Howe and Pandanus is no exception. The Italian cuisine is fantastic and it was hard to stop at one cocktail.
Didn't like the view of the driveway so much but the food was good enough to forget about that.

This is the place in Springwood to get your BBQ chicken roll. They are great! They do salads, chips, and have a cold beverages fridge as well as a selection of icecreams.

Springwood Charcoal Chicken is my pick for hot chips and gravy in Springwood. The staff are polite and I never have to wait too long for my order to be ready.

The Sawdust has a great Children's play room (Kids Zone) which means it's a great place for parents. They also have children's meals for $5 and occasionally adult meals for $5.

This was a really no fuss car rental experience. Very easy and quick to arrange. They are only open until about 12.30pm so when we had finished with the car we just dropped the car around the back and popped the keys down a shute and off we went.

The owners that greeted us on arrival were really lovely, they held our bags at reception while we walked to the shops to pick up some groceries so we could make use of the kitchen in our studio apartment. Clean facilities, great pool, so close to restaurants and the beach.

I good young crowd gathers here on Saturday nights with interesting characters assured. A great place for a drink and a dance as there is often live music on Saturday nights.

We stopped in here for some drinks for a friends Hen's night. The upstairs bar was nice, we chose to sit outside at a table with bench seats, it was hard to get in and out as they were too close to the chairs behind us, not very elegant when you're wearing a dress. The cocktails were pricey but I guess that's what you get in Sydney.

I have been going to Roger for years he is a very lovely man and makes you feel at ease. I think he finds it funny when he asks you question that aren't simply yes or no and you have a mouth full of dental tools. One problem I had was a filling that fell out twice so wasn't happy about having to pay each time to get it fixed. Prices are standard and staff are also lovely.
