Nice view out onto eltham. very large menu and large portions on meals. ENORMOUS selection of cakes in the cake window in the front. They can order a cake for you, but make sure they get your order right as i was given the wrong cake. It wasn't until i cut it that i discovered the error. It took alot of phone calls to get a resolution. Don't let this discourage you, this is a nice cafe for Eltham. Their lasagne and salad is very nice.

This place is a bit hit and miss. Some dishes are nice but some are just not tasty. I ordered the potato and bacon soup and it tasted fishy and watery. It tasted like canned soup and i refused to eat it. Other dishes i've tried have been ok, but below what i would expect in pubs nowadays and for the price i don't think i'll be returning soon. Would be ok just for a beer and a snack.

We went here on a long weekend after a trip in the Yarra Valley. Great menu, all your favourite pub grub, and some more expensive classier dishes too. The spaghetti bolagnaise was delicious. Dining doesn't open until 12pm on weekends.

I've been visiting this restaurant in Kangaroo Ground for as long as i was old enough to remeber. Set on a beautiful property with sweeping views of the valley, this restaurant is an institution in the area. Fantastic views if you sit near a window, or nice and cozy by a fireplace in winter. The menu is not very long so that can be annoying if you are a fussy eater. Lots of nice desserts to choose from. Prices are quite high, but its the atmosphere and view you are paying for. This would be a great venue for an engagement or wedding party.

This place has been here forever and that's a good sign! The flake is always delicious, so are their fried dim sims. It's quicker to phone in your order than sit and wait which can take awhile.
This post office was renovated a few years ago. It's half the size now but more modern. During peak times the line can be out the door. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. They stock lots of useful things like gift cards which can be convenient.
Great chinese resaturant. Their lemon chicken, peking duck and dumplings are nice. Very fast take away service, if you call it's usually ready in 10 minutes. In-restaurant dining is relaxed and calm. The restaurant overlooks a nice lake with wild ducks and bamboo. Very wide menu.

I keep going back to this travel agent because they are so friendly and helpful like a friend giving you advice rather than a corporate chain such as Flight Centre. The staff go out of their way to follow things up for you and answer all your questions.
For things like flights and hotels you can find better deals online, but this agent is good for booking tours for you and dealing with suppliers. They also can do your visas.
Really nice chicken here. The place is operated by the one family. The staff are eager to please. Wide variety of salads in the salad bar, lots of drinks.
Can be a bit of a wait on chips and wedges.
Convenient to drop in for those essential health and beauty items you may need. They are always having specials. They stock a wide range of the celebrity slim items. They're open until 5.30pm on weekdays which is convenient if you finish work at 5pm.
