Bodhi is a Buddhist restaurant only serving vego food but disguised as the real thing.
We had 'peiking duck' and 'tempura prawns' as well as some traditional asian style vego dishes.
Finding this place is tricky, especially for an out of towner. Google shows it directly across from the Sheraton On The Park - on the other side of Hyde Park. Well, it is... sort of. But you need to walk across the courtyard between the Catherdral and the swimming pool, then head down the stairs on the right.
Place finally found - the food is fabulous, the location wonderful and it would be sensational on a balmy Summers eve.
What a fabulous place.
Fantastic venue - beautifully done and well thought out with all the various sections.
Fantastic service - plenty of staff on to cater to the full restaurant. Limited waiting time for drinks/meals. And the staff were friendly and professional - even the very young ones!
Fantastic Food - lots of choice. Of the 8 at our table, there were a couple of dietary requirements that needed to be met - no one needed to modify the menu. There was plenty of variety to suit everyone. Everyone ordered something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Oh, and you wont go home hungry - generous servings.
Highly recommend this place

I've tried other inner city catteries and outer boarding kennels/catteries - this place is the best.
The staff are so friendly and caring. The accommodation is spacious and offers both a socializing space as well as somewhere for the timid cat to hide.
There is no issue with seeing where your cat will be living - they actually take you, without asking, to their accommodation and let you help your cat settle in. They also take you to them on pick up - way less stressful for me and my cat.
Very impressed!
Daylesford Getaways have a great range of properties and are easy to deal with. My booking was confirmed quickly and painlessly. The staff where very friendly and helpful on check-in/check-out.
We rented Daylesford Lake Villa 1 - it is a lovely little one bedroom unit with a view (albeit small) to the lake. Nicely appointed - although additional heating in the bedroom/bathroom would go a long way in the depths of Winter!
The carport is very narrow and parking/turn-around is tight if Villa 2 has two cars.
Overall, a very comfortable unit and we had a delightful weekend.
Approximate cost: $275.00
Fabulous range of Women's business shirts. Beautifully tailored, great fabrics.
Service is great - you feel like you're their best customer even if you've only been there once. Great range of Women's cufflinks both ornate and silk knots.
Worth the price.
Approximate cost: $70.00
This place quickly became my favorite when I was living in the area, and remains so. I tried a lot of the restaurants along Victoria Street but kept coming back to Binh Minh.
Their Curry Laksa is fabulous, as are their mini spring rolls and salt & pepper squid.
The decor isn't flash and the service can be lacking when they get really busy - but the food is worth it.
This place could be a real contender however there were a few things that really let it down for us.
One table were obviously known to the proprietor and the banter was extremely inappropriate, bordering on offensive, yet the proprietor did nothing to discourage this. In fact, kept giving them 'free' cocktails and chatting loudly across the room with no regard for other patrons.
Our main meals were served before we had finished our entree. The place wasn't busy, only around a quarter full. No reason for rushing us.
The food: Entree was good, the Lamb special was outstanding, the seafood platter extremely salty, with only a decorative salad which was dried out and inedible. Would have been good to have been able to order sides however the only 'salads' available were mixed lettuce (this is not a 'salad') or main meal salads. Nothing else on offer - no sides of veggies or even chips.
With all the other fantastic restaurants in town (which were fully booked!) this place really needs to lift it's game to stay afloat.
Approximate cost: $32
I've taken my car to these guys a few times. They are good mechanics and generally I can get my car booked in quickly.
Down side, they don't call you when the car is ready or to tell you that there are any issues.. so you find out when you pick up the car or by calling them (if you can ever get the guy that's working on your car).
The service is good though, just need to be prepared to chase them for updates.
My mechanic told me I needed new brakes.. took my car to Brakes Plus Preston instead of just letting the mechanic fix them. These guys are honest and will show you what needs to be done - or show you nothing needs to be done if that's the case.
They wont just do a job because you're there and booked in, will only fix things that 'need' fixing.
Friendly, quick, honest.. will recommend to anyone!
This place is amazing!
Well thought out cabins placed on the side of a hill with unstoppable views across Apollo Bay. The hosts (Glenda & Alan) have put a lot of thought and effort into these cabins. They are there to greet you and then you are left completely alone in this wonderfully appointed cabin.
Split system, reverse cycle air-conditioner, a wood fire (and plenty of wood to keep it burning day and night), quality entertainment unit (stereo/tv/dvd). A fully equipped kitchen. Stunning views from all rooms - including the bathroom. And complete privacy.
We'll be back!
Thanks for the tip about the location.
