This shop has recently been renovated. Often has markdowns on meat / bread if you are there at the right time. Fruit and Veg is average / above average. Fruit quite good vegies tend to be average with average limp stock usually still sitting on shelves. Staff are very friendly and you usually through check outs quickly.
Unforgettable bridal should be renamed to forgettable. Although I did buy my dress from there I had nothing but problems with it. Initially a very pushy staff member who seemed more interested in profits than what the dress looked like on me. I left quite upset from her pushiness but came back as I had fallen in love with the dress. I bought the shelf model for a discount - do not do this! Buy in a brand new one - where ever you go. The lady pointed out to me 2 flaws. They were pushy in getting it sold. I checked it over the best and but in the excitment missed many flaws. There were about 6 major things which needed fixing. Ripped satin, missing beads (in at least 5 areas) pulled threads (all over) inside and outside of the dress, stains!!! My dressmaker was shocked I had been sold it and had to work so hard on getting it adjusted.
This company rocks! There is nothing they can't do. Any flavour, any amount of tiers they are so flexible. I had a three teired cake with chocolate and caramal ganache, caramel with chocolate ganach and fruit cake on the top. She sourced special ribbon for me to match the BMs dresses and made it all from one photo. Not sure if she is the cheapest, but very good value still, well worth a look!
I got my wedding flowers including: 3 roses posies, flowergirl baskets (hand made), button holes (for bridal party and family members), wrist corsages (on 'pearls' for the mums!) and a free 'throwaway'. all were perfect. Such lovely flowers. The business is run from a home. I'm not sure if this helps keep the cost down but it was so much cheaper than other places. Flowers were so lovely! The company was one of my fav's to deal with during the planning - so friendly every time! My only problem was my throwaway was much smaller than I was expecting - just 3 flowers.
Good range of games and products. I shop there every now and then for convenience but have had a couple of problems with the service of staff. Some there seem to know what they are talking about with games and others are really not in the 'know' which is very important with games.
I discovered Hey Honey by chance and am so glad! I don't go to beauty therapists much from previous bad experiences but a friend told me that these ladies are really good. I went for the lead up to my wedding the girls there took such good care of me. They never pressured me into getting products / treatments that I could not afford. It was always about what I needed / what was best for me. They were aways so caring / professional and I was so happy that my skin looked great on my big day. If I had other things I needed to get done I would definately go back and recommend to others
Had a lady: Anne, come out an measure my blinds. She did the best job, the venetians are fitting to the mm! I rang her several times and was able to ask follow up questions. Their showroom was also really good at checking out the colors to ensure I picked the right ones. My Husband and I changed our mind after seeing the showroom and they were really nice about it. Definatly shop around though for price as all the 'big names' tend to have specials. These guys had the holeless venetians though which we just loved.
Great range of DVDs. Tend to usually have what I want and also a good selection of docos / foreign films. I think it's family owned so it's nice to give your profits to the 'small business' rather than the big guy down the road. I do find there service for a small business lacking. Very impersonable. Was going there for a year every 2nd / 3rd week and the same people would never really treat me like a regular / say hello nicely.
Fantastic service. Brilliant Vets, always know what they are talking about and if they don't they will go over and over the animal until they do. They always treat you like you matter. We took our dog there due to bad eyes. They did a complete checkover and then even clipped his nails for us without asking / charging. Downside is very expensive compared to others in the south
