I was travelling through this new shopping complex which recently opened and tried the Newsagency for Lotto tickets and pick up my favourite magazine. The shop is rather narrow and has only 2 lotto terminals and is very confusing which side to get the tickets from. The staff seem to be ok, but not going out of their way. The shop has all the usual newsagency products and will survive because of the walkthrough from the food courts on lower level. Other than that nothing stands out for the shop.

Have been going to this place now for up 16 years on and off. Last time was 5 years ago until yesterday. The thing I found which was really disappointing is the equipment is ageing, and it seems they are more interested in the items which you pay extra and top of the entry fee. Taking a family of 5 and costing us nearly $100, the place really doesn't offer value for money. It's a pity as if they upgraded and charged a bit more, it would be more appealing. Most parks are always upgrading to stinulate the interest.

Spent a day at Victor Harbor yesterday, and decided to eat at Caffe Primo as they are pretty good in Adelaide and at least it's under cover and family friendly. We ordered main meals and kids meals and usually get pancakes for the main meals. Issue is the day was a long one and hoped the pancakes could be ordered once the main meals come out and never have an issue with this at other Primo stores. Unfortunately the lady was adamant the main meals had to be finished before we could order, which really was delaying our drive back to Adelaide. Then to top it off in the kids meal(penne bolognese) she discovered a foreign substance in the dish. When we observed, we assumed it to be cooked egg yolk. The child was not feeling to well after eating most of the dish nd we quizzed the waitress. The response was, oh the kitchen use the hot water they boil their eggs to then boil the pasta(ie recycled water), and terribly sorry. No word of compensation or worry the child may have had an allergy to egg yolk etc. So never ever would go there again and hope others are wary of their practices.

Had a chai latte, cappuccino, and choc/vanilla cheescake and gelati for just over $15 last week and that included a free hot drink, so pretty expensive. Because we weren't eating they escorted us to the outside 'no smoking' area, and the place smelt of smoke as the the smoking area just puffed in. So not a pleasant experience. The hot beverages were very ordinary and I got sick on the cheesecake as it had that stale taste. When we got home I started to feel very sick and advised my other half to ring them to tell them of my sickness and to take caution over cheesecake. They simply replied their cakes are all fresh daily and had no interest in our dilemma. So as far as just a coffee stp, the place lacks a lot. Cannot comment on their meals. Also their outside areas need to be reviewed re smoking and non-smoking.

On the way home from Mt Gambier to Adelaide we turned off riddoch highway into Keith town centre and stopped off at this bakery to have a stretch, have something to eat and use the restroom. We bought cakes and they were not cheap(approx $3 or above), a homemade pie for $4 and had hot beverages in mugs which was $4.50 each. One thing I was surprised by was the price they charged for a babycino. It was well over $2 for some frothed milk. Apart from that the staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcomed. A good place to stop on the Adelaide to Mt Gambier strip!
