Thing I like about this greengrocer is it supports local growers in SA. Have purchased broccoli, cucumbers, strawberries, caulis etc at great prices and was happy that it was definitely grown here in SA. Not the best quality for all items, but it beats a lot of others and supermarkets
Cos and his family have been running this business for years and he offers all the continental smallgoods, breads and imported cakes etc. Really like the eggs i bought. Fresh large chicken eggs for $2.50. If you want fresh and not a supermarket product, this is the place to try.
This caffe is really convenient if you are going to the Piccadilly as it is very clean and modern and you can catch a bite to eat prior to going to the flicks. Food and coffee is good and pricing is along the same lines as others further down the strip.
This caffe moved a few years back from across Fellini's and Scuzzi and is now part of the North Adelaide Village which offers downstairs parking. The move has changed the atmosphere a liitle as the decor is much more modern, but the food quality hasn't changed and the pricing is on par with the others down this strip
This cafe is like most on this street where it offers good quality food and coffee. The coffee probably stands out more than the rest and atmosphere here is very cosy and has a corner view(o'connel/tynte st). Prices are on par with the other cafes on this stretch, so it's basically if you can't get in one you try another.
This shop has helped me many a time buying that something special a for a good price(when you look for it). It's a great store especially for young girl items such as name necklaces(which I purchased recently) to all sort of ornamental and character items. Do yourself a favour and have a browse
Have frequented this place as an individual downstairs or part of a club or function upstairs many a time before the current owners and now. the wood oven pizza really is awesome and in full view. My favourites are the calzone and the marinara. It's reasonably priced between $20 to $30 per main course. Down side is they charge % on Amex not on Visa/M/C and some of the imported wines are not the best as per last time we had an Italian White which honestly was not worth the price
This service station is very handy being on a corner and across from Coles(to use your Petrol Discount voucher). Sometimes the fuel is a little higher on base rate, but is comparable. The shop offers bus tickets, bread milk, ice creams lollies etc. Also has Gas Bottles.
This little gem nestled in Flinders Park provides great dinners just to heat and eat. The Lasagne, Cannaloni, and other pastas either with red or alla pana surely hits the mark for those nights you are stuck and it is very good quality. It is renowned to be used by many restaurants etc around Adelaide.
Really disappointed in this mob as the family has used this a few time and there are always hidden surprises, plus the workmanship leaves a lot to be desired. We had purchased a loyalty card to receive all these freebies and when we went to use they said it only covered labour and then they slapped on all these extra things they alleged done. Steering well clear of this place in future.
