Pastizzi Cafe is one of the best kept secrets in Newton. The coffees are well-ground and have a rich aroma. the flat whites are rich, but the mochas are good for those who are after a quick caffiene fix.

nine dragons in the city is definately a classic chinese restaurant not just for tourists but also for locals alike. the dishes are always served hot and the seafood there is live. the waitresses are friendly too.

sunflower crepe cafe has an innovative range of pancakes on offer. however, the prices are a bit dear, but from what i had last time, it is definately worth it. great for late nights out in the city

Emporer Garden offers fast and responding staff service- they are always quick off their toes! the food is also delicious, though one of our dishes arrived slightly cold. nonetheless, will be back again

lindt chocolate cafe was a dream come true. introduced by a boyfriend, i have now been there continuously with girlfriends. the hot chocolate is delicious and mouthwatering

Cafe Gioia have one of the best pizzas in the inner west region. Should definately try the seafood one, it is always fresh. i would recommend booking on a friday night. the tiramisu's are delicious and homemade too!

the bakery is always fresh and the aroma wafts through the streets of surry hills. a must if you're in the city and the location is very convinient. i would definately recommend the crossiants there- they are a classic!

limelight is one of the best restaurants i have been. the entrees are of a large serving size and waitress staff are very friendly. i would recommmend booking before hand
