This is one of those hidden secrets in the public school system. Often receiving a bad rap because of the suburb that it is in, anyone who is familiar with this lovely school and its well mannered students will tell you that it is one of the best schools to teach at. My son attends this school and he has only good things to say about it.

We had frequented the Meat and Wine in Darling Harbour several times and found it sensational. We expected the same of the Parramatta Restaurant and were sadly mistaken. We had our xmas party there last year-not only did they stick us in a function room with no aircon (in late December on a stinking hot day), their wait staff seemed to have no idea what they were doing (at one point, the waiter topped up my white wine with red wine and didn't seem to understand why I wanted a fresh glass! The steaks were overcooked and the whole experience was very disappointing. I won't be going back!

We recently had dinner at Lachlan's to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I found that the food was fantastic and so was the setting. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back.

After shopping all around town, we found that this company had the most choice and for what we wanted (wooden blinds), they also had the best price. They also gave us realistic advice about how we could expect our blinds to stand up to being in direct sunlight.

This fruit shop always has really fresh produce and their prices are very competitive. You have to love the good old fashioned spruiking from the workers in the shop aswell. Hard to do better.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes as a present for my wife from this store. I didn't really know where to start, I just knew my wife wanted a silver strappy shoe, but the saleswoman helped me pick out some shoes that my wife really loved.

This chemist is not all that different from most other pharmacies except it is open until late. When you have a sick child, a pharmacy that is open until midnight and can offer some advice is a godsend. Very handy indeed.

This is the place where I buy my workwear now. They carry a full range of Bisley work gear and it is all at about half what you would pay for it in any other shop.

This place is known for their pastizzis and there is nothing better than swinging by and picking up a bag of them nice and hot from their pastizzi oven. Second to none. You know you're on a winner when tradies frequent a place.

This delicatessan always has the best quality, freshest products I've seen. They are reasonably priced and their staff are very helpful. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
