Florist on David were absolutely amazing, a friend recently had a baby and I was unwell on unable to visit. They arranged for an arrangement exactly as I described to be delivered at no charge to her in hospital.
The meals and service were sadly what I expected in a country town, they were your average pub meal and service. The staff appeared friendly to the locals but did the bare minimum to please out of towners, the meals were of a decent size and fairly priced but not amazingly fresh.
After struggling for years with female problems I had many doctors brush off my symptoms, I finally received a referral to Dr Hooper who after a brief conversation felt she knew what was wrong and after a few follow up tests she had a diagnosis and now I am finally able to move on with my life controlling my problems that apparently were all in my head
Having had an interest in the supernatural for many years I was mildly disappointed in this gimmick. Whilst the tour was informative of the history of Launceston, I felt it was lacking substance. It was more a historical night tour
I normally cringe when I think of using a plumber, its often unexpected and unwanted repairs being done. Manion Plumbing was able to send someone out in a timely manner, at all stages of the repair we were kept informed of any costs that we might incur and he seeked our permission before proceeding with any work. Was pleasantly surprised when they came in slightly under what they quoted, not many businesses would be this honest
Can not fault the service here, staff are extremely knowledgeable and attentive.
It's not really a place you would want to go for a bike 'just for fun' they offer serious and expensive bikes and service
I am a patient on the 'books' here but rarely attend as the reception staff on more than one occasion have been abrupt and rude. The doctors how ever are friendly and knowledgeable, they often have a lot of new young doctors so its not uncommon not to have your preferred doctor. The surgery is very modern and convenient for me from my home
I had my middle child here last week and I was so thankful that Launceston now has a walk in service. We waited a lengthy time as many others had arrived prior to us but the Doctor we saw was friendly, talked to my child not just ignoring him, took the time to make sure he was comfortable and I was happy with his medical advice
My mother in law always stays here when visiting due to the old country feel the rooms offer, plus the exceptional service offered by the staff. They are always extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms are amazing, comfortable and inviting.
For the price we paid for a room it was never going to be anything flashy but you could tell no money had been invested in the rooms or facilities. We had to walk up a massive hill to reach an external flight of stairs to climb to get to our room. The room was small and in need of some TLC
