I dislike gardening with a passion. No Really, cement it all in and paint it green I say! I can always find something to do that is more important...So when I needed gravel and hedge bushes I was not looking forward to the task ahead. I would pass this business often but never stopped. I called other businesses today trying to get gravel delivered...What size do you want? What colour do you want? It was becoming clear that I had to see the stone to decide what I needed.. So in the car I set off to Plants Plus. The service was excellent! Now I must look like a green thumb because when it came to the hedges the assistant was quoting botanical names to me. I think that it became clear when I responded with I want something this colour and this high and needs to act as a hedge. He instantly understood as if the unwritten code had been spoken between blokes. This is what you need he said my pride and ego in tact. On the way to the checkout I was very surprised to see exactly what this business actually sold. Combine a Garden Nursery with a kind of Furniture and interior store and you would not be far wrong. Great service, excellent range and friendly people. I needed it all delivered quickly and this was done within 30 minutes of me getting home. 2mtrs of gravel and 8 green and red plants with names I will never be able to pronounce. But I am home, the gravel is spread and the plants are planted..(My wife calls them "The condemned". If shopping for Plant stuff is this easy I just may give up fishing..Maybe!

Fast Forward. Today is 13th of February 2014 and the condemned are still on "Death Row". The Household Governess also known as "she that must be obeyed" announced today that the Parole had been granted and they were now off the endangered list as they were over 1 mtr tall. This does have more to do I fear with the quality of the plants than the colour of my thumb. Although I can think of no one that turns on a sprinkler like I do.

Kerry is a genuine Marine Mechanic that wastes no time and understands his stuff. I recently had Kerry complete a full service on my Volvo Sterndrive from prop to fan belt. In addition to the Service I requested a few extra things be attended to. Not only were my requests attended to but Kerry's attention to detail picked up a few things that needed or soon would need to be done and fixed these as a preventative measure. The V8 Volvo pushes a large flybridge cruiser used by myself and my family. My brief to Kerry was that this was a Family boat and I needed to have confidence in its ability to take us out and bring us back safely. I am very happy with the quality of work and the final cost was reasonable. Kerry is not cheap but what price do you put on quality service and the confidence that that brings. The job is done ontime and without fuss. Oh and by the way. There was NOT one oily fingerprint to be found anywhere on the boat after he had packed up his tools. I understand that he is fluent with Outboards too. Give him a go you will not be disappointed.

A little over 2 years ago I became very ill indeed. And in the last two years I have spent almost 10 weeks in this Hospital. My stay included terms in ICU, Day surgery, Surgical Ward, Physio and 4 trips to the Theatre for some serious surgery. I am here today because of the dedication of the teams of doctors and nursing staff at the SPH. Lets not forget the cleaners, catering staff and physio. I got to know them well in this time and can say with certaintity that you will be cared for here. Great people, good food. Nurses are fantastic and the Doctors know their stuff.

Dr. Greg K ( I can never spell his surname) is simply brilliant. He has been my families doctor since our two boys were born (13 years ago). Al little under 2 years ago. Dr Greg recommended that I see a specialist and he insisted that I do it quickly. He was instrumental in getting me into seeing a surgeon that same week. Four surgeries later, a long stint in hospital including ICU and I am still here. Frankly if it was not for Dr Greg's intuition and expertise I would not be typing this now.

My wife needed new tyres for her Commodore and I wanted to get her the same set as was on my G6E. JAX Browns Plains could have taken my money (around $1500 for a set F, 4WA, 4B.) But explained that mine were run flat and that I was really overspecifying. They saved me $400 and the tyres are superb. Same brand. Almost same Pattern just not R/F. Two weeks later at 10 mins before closing time on a Sat arvo I picked up a nail in the G6E. They waited back for me to arrive and fixed it after hours to get me back on the road. Neat, clean, tidy, very professional. With this service they have found a new regular customer.

After being a slave to the habit of shopping for Meat in the Large chains for years I thought that I would give my local butcher a go... That was over three years ago and I have not looked back. Yes they are more expensive but the quality of the meat is beyond comparison. Service is excellent and the owner is very friendly and helpful. Oh... and he can cook as well so his advice for cooking meat to perfection is invaluable..

My wife is very fussy about her steaks and must have the cooked to perfection. When we feel like a great steak meal we jump into the car and drive from Brisbane to Cav's. Pick your own steak. Relax in a Hacienda style restaurant and enjoy the great service. These guys have seen our two boys grow up from Kids Nuggets to full Eye Fillets..We are customers for 13+ years. Great food, Great atmosphere. Great Service!

I have been using this business for a number of years for my monthly Garden Bag pick up. I also use them for the skip bins when I am cleaning up around the house.. Garden Bag operator is helpful and friendly and the Office Staff offer great assistance when I am ordering my Skip. I found out about their recycling program and what the proceeds go to. More than a business they are a part of the community.

Well if you were looking for Basil Fawlty in Brisbane then look no further. Echidna Magic is the place. The view is spectacular and the food is pretty good...when you eventually get it! And hope that you receive what you ordered. We waited almost an hour for our order to arrive and it was nothing like what we ordered. Staff were friendly enough but inept and clumsy. We waited a further 30 minutes for the correct food to arrive. Understaffed, confused. Go for the view, have plenty of time and enjoy the lucky dip of what you get... Not a happy camper and will NOT be going back again.
