I recommend eating here if you are after a bargain and have a big appetite. If you order a large drink you get lots! I always get a small. The meals are massive but still good quality. The staff are friendly and effiicient. I really enjoy the beef blackbean. Its an excellent dish and very tasty.
I have stayed here twice. the first time the service was excellent, i had never stayed anywhere as good before. The next time we stayed was a few years later and the resort had been changed. No longer was the restaurant that we had loved open to the public, it was now for events only. We were really disappointed with that. Also we were disappointed that the man who used to great you at the door of the restaurant was no longer there. He made our last time there enjoyable and was very kind. We went to the other restaurant in the resort and it was very expensive. The food was good but it wasnt affordable to eat there all the time.
I went to the Werribee Open Range Zoo and booked in for the Meet & Greet with a Giraffe. It was one of the most memorable things i've ever done. It was an awesome experience that i highly recommend. We got to feed the giraffes and they came down right above your head. They were huge but gentle. It was only about $70 at the time. A fantastic price.
I cant recommend this business more highly. They supply my workplace with artificial flowers that get swapped once a month. The flowers look so real. They have pretend water in the bottom of the vases. Everyone that comes into work thinks they are real. They are a fantastic idea for Ballarat as you can have them out on display and still run the heater without them wilting as real flowers would. They are priced wonderfully. Its much cheaper than buying real flowers and replacing them every week and you dont have to clean up after these ones!
I dont have any other stores to compare prices to but i can say that every time i have used this company they do an exceptional job. i order self inking stamps and they have them made and delivered within a week so long as you order by a certain day. Great place for businesses to buy their self inking stamps from.
I seem to find this is one of the better Aldi stores in Ballarat. They always have a large range of items that are in the catalogue and dont sell out before the others do. The prices here are great, i always buy my fresh vegetables here. The biggest saving i find is the 500gram coleslaw for $5. It is enough to feed a few people and is many times larger than what you would get for that price in a major supermarket. In Summer this saves us lots of money on groceries. They also have pasta salad and potato salad available for the same price.
This is a great place to shop that has awesome prices on food. The weekly discounted items save me lots of money on my grocery shop. Just the other week i was in a major supermarket and saw the price of grated cheese. It was very dear. I went to NQR and got 1.2kgs of the same stuff for less than a quarter of the price.
We bought heaps of things here to move into our new house. I was impressed with the quality. It was very affordable but didnt look cheap and nasty. Some wooden furniture from other stores feels cheap when you tap it. However the things we bought weighed lots and look and feel proper. The staff are always there to ask if you need a hand. If you ask for a discount or better price we found that we were given one. This may be because we had spent lots in the store. cant fault the delivery or the lay by options. Both were great.
A bit pricey but they have a huge range to choose from. Love that they now have that woodfire pizza selection. Love to call in for a look and a bite to eat on my way past.
Great range of plants here and at fantastic prices. Lots of sizes available. Definately worth the drive there if you are looking to stock up for the season.
