A great place to catch up with friends who have kids and enjoy a cuppa or lunch. The menu is reasonably priced- your usual foods for these types of places, although their hot chips are delicious. You are not allowed to bring in your own food or drinks which is fair enough but includes drink bottles which is a tad harsh. Parking is terrible!! Just no.
The entry is a bit dearer than other play cafes. Make sure you bring socks with you. They don’t take bookings (unless it is a party) so you may have to wait, particularly if the weather is horrible outside. The air-conditioning is not that great on humid days.
The play area is fantastic! Very big, in good condition, well maintained and cleaned. They have different sections for different age groups to make it safer but it means in some parts your kids can’t be together if they are different ages. The play equipment is supervised too which is nice, but still keep an eye on your own kids.
Staff can be a bit hit and miss efficiency wise but nothing I wouldn’t boycott about. Generally the service is good.
The parties are a great idea but in my opinion, a bit over priced. They do well to manage multiple parties at a time although it does mean that on weekends there is less general admission space as the parties take up a lot of room (they do have their own area but move into the dining space when finished). I heard they hire out the venue on Saturday and Sunday nights for private functions too which may be worth a look into.
Definitely one of the better play cafes I have been to.
Fancier than your average burger bar means you will be paying more than usual for your meal but the taste and quality are worth it. I like the soft shell crab burger and the chicken burger (ask for the chilli kewpie). Best onion rings in town. The soft serve ice-cream with the popcorn on top is delicious treat (if you’re willing to pay $6 for soft serve…). Great atmosphere, good service and friendly staff. They don’t take bookings and are usually pretty busy so sometimes hard to get a table.
I love this place! I love that they are opened all the time. I love that they are easy to get to. I love that they are reasonably priced. I love that they serve sweet and savory. I love that you can eat in or takeaway. But most of all I love that they have donuts filled with Nutella! Mmmm....
A great range of tasty burgers. A healthier option with real, fresh ingredients. Fast, friendly service and convenient location.
Approximate cost: $12
Great service and delicious range of takeaway food. My favourite takeaway yiros. The fish and chips are good too- not too greasy. The people are friendly and they are always busy. Phone orders encouraged so you don't have to wait.
Delicious yiros and chips and a tasty variety of salads and sides. Well priced and good service.
Best hot chips around! Their other food is pretty good too. Great, reliable service. Reasonably priced. Always busy so call and order ahead.
Very friendly and professional staff in a clean and stylish salon. Great service however have been made to wait at times. I sometimes found it difficult to get an appointment at a convenient time. This I think is because the lady I usually booked with was part time and they were reluctant to schedule appointments with her on quiet days. Other then that, happy with the service I received there on many occasions.
I have only had the take away pizza bar and not the restaurant area. The pizza here is fairly average and a bit over priced for pizza. It's OK but there are better pizza bars in the area.
This place is like schnitzel heaven! There are soo many different toppings (with, depending on your maturity level, hilarious names) you can choose for whatever schnitzel base you desire. It was quite hard to choose. All of them come with delicious chips and a standard garden salad. Very big servings for a decent price (average $25). There are other things on the menu too.
I ordered the Reef and Schnit with a chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel was cooked to perfection however unfortunately the garlic gravey sauce was extremely salty for my liking I took most of it off. The other guests on my table also commented that their sauces we salty (we all ordered a different dish.
The atmosphere is standard pub.
Will be back to try the others I stuggled to choose between (unless they too are salty....).
