I've tried a number of Malaysian food around Sydney and they have been quiet disappointing as there wasn't must flavour in their dishes, but Sedap is one of the best restaurants that serves hawker style Malaysian food.
I ordered the Penang Char Kuey Teow, which is a flat rice noodle stir fried with prawns, fish cakes, Chinese sausage, bean sprouts and severed with a side of sambal (which really has a kick to it). I also ordered a mug of iced Teh Tarik (pulled tea), which was delicious.
If you haven't tried Malaysian food before, then you must try Sedap in the city.

I've only just recently tried the coffee at V Lounge and its pretty good. Even at about 10pm there are quiet few people waiting for a table. They have a great selection of delicious desserts that range form gelato, waffles, crepes, Churros (which are really good) and a number of cakes.
If you don't have a sweet tooth you can always get a toastie, hot chips, BLT and much more. I will definitely come back here to try some more of their food.

I love having Pho here. Their special beef noodles are the best in this area. Their Pho soup is light and not oily like other places and their beef are delicious. The serving it big and if that's not enough for you, you could order the extra large Pho noodles for a couple more bucks.

There a a good variety of sushi rolls, Nigiri, Inari (fried tofu skin sushi) or Bento boxes to choose from. Their sushi are pretty good but not amazing and prices are reasonable. I've tried a number of their Inari's and would definitely try some more of their sushi or Bento boxes .
I've been meaning to try this restaurant for a while and finally got the chance to do so. The restaurant is clean and the décor is simple. I tried the braised lobster Singapore style, which was a very sweet tomato based sauce and almost soup like, which could have been better if it was better seasoned and the sauce was thicker. The sea cucumber and duck hot pot was very nice and I like the complimentary soup starter and the red bean sweet dessert.
The food at The Little Snail is amazing and is so delicious. A friend told me about this place and I was glad to try it out. They have a 3 course meal which is at a special price of $38 or if you choose to have a 3 course dinner its $60.
I tried the pate, which was superb, fillet of beef tenderloin with a potato millefeuille (layered potato) and for dessert I had the hazelnut and praline ice cream which was just devine.
I will definitely come back here.

They make a pretty good cup of coffee at Crema Espresso. Its a good place to grab a coffee and some Eggs Benedict for breakfast or you could get the full big breakfast.
The staff were very nice and service was great. I'd love to come back for lunch or afternoon tea and see what else they might have.

Can here with a friend for afternoon coffee and some dessert. The service was very nice. The coffee was pretty ok but the cakes were not so fresh. My chocolate cake started to taste a bit dry and my friend's pastry dessert was very chewy and probably needed a fork and knife to cut it.

came here for lunch for the first time and I'm very impressed. I love the décor of Coco Cubano, its has a lot of interesting Cuban photos and decorations. The margaritas were delicious and they have one of the best calamaris. I had the steak which was very nice but needs a sauce to go with it. I love to come back here and try more of their food.

Sitney has a very clean and comfortable feel and atmosphere. They have a good range of grilled meats as well as That and Laotian salads. My favourite is the Laos paw paw salad and raw beef salad.
There's also a wide range of curries,soups, stir fry and noodles. I've tried the chicken Pad Thai which is pretty good.
From Monday to Thursday there are $10 Lunch speacials, which I'd love to come back to try.

I totally agree, it is very hard to find good quality Malaysian food in Sydney.
