When I noticed this new Burger Restaurant in Aberfoyle Park I knew I had to try it with a few mates immediately. A nice new and clean restaurant with a very reasonably priced menu. I tried the texas bbq burger and my mates the double cheeseburger, hot and spicy and classic Fudd. We all shared some chilli cheese fries, our burgers and fries were sensational, prices start at around $7 with the most expensive at $14. Great for those on a budget, real quality burgers at great prices. Burger lovers rejoice!
Some friends and I picked up a chicken and chips a couple of months ago, the chicken was great, not overcooked, moist on the inside and a nice crispy skin (the way I like it) chips were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the staff were great, quick with our order, in and out in no time.
Seems more like a kebab shop than a bakery, but i don't mind. The service is quick and friendly and the food really is delicious, prices are around $10 which is quite good. Great to be in and out in a few minutes and enjoying my meal.
If I feel like a vietnamese roll and I am in the area, then this is the place to go. Great value for around $5, always fresh. It is very popular at lunch time so allow extra time when placing your order.
I do enjoy Joy of India, can always rely on the perfect curry. Prices are great, onion bhaji, lamb rogan josh, vindaloo and butter chicken are my usual curries I like to order with my girlfriend. Always satisfied with our meals.
Their lunch time specials are great at $8.90, real value, a generous serve of rice and the curry of your choice. Ready within a few minutes, absolutely delicious.
Was in Glenelg yesterday with friends and we really felt like some fish and chips, they wanted to go here and I didn't. Well we ended up ordering some potato fritters, fish and chips, once again wasn't impressed, worse than last time. Nothing tasted fresh, just overcooked, and basically tasteless/bland. Will definitely not be returning, not enjoyable at all. Infact, we tossed most of it out and ate elsewhere.
Was picking up my pre-order from EB Games and with such a queue I decided to wait a while and then enjoyed a coffee here with a mate. The Coffee Tin is in the best location, you cannot miss it, very convenient, plenty of tables and they have many food offerings including donuts and freshly cooked biscuits. I picked up a few for my girlfriend.
One of my favourite take away joints in Mount Barker, parking is always a problem, better off parking a bit down the road. The guys here are great, very friendly and quick with your order. My chips are always perfect, fish is fab and their burgers are generous, my girlfriend can never finish hers.
With a bit of spare cash I like to treat my girlfriend to dinner here after the movies. The pizzas are more expensive than others nearby, but the quality is outstanding. Most recently, we found they served us the perfect pizza. They staff are always very nice, it's a pity they don't seem to be doing as much business as they use to, I guess there is a lot more competition now. It is a great relaxing restaurant with very friendly staff. A must try.
