This is a fabulous place to go with friends especially if you love a goood schnitzel, the servings are huge, the toppings generous and delicious. We have enjoyed both their schnitzels and breakfast here, never been disappointed. Our our latest visit here a friend tried the Man V Schnit Challenge, priced at $39, we thought it was good value, as it did entertain us. The challenge is - you are served a 1kg chicken schnitzel with chips and sauce, plus 1ltr of beer. Everything on your plate must be eaten and you must consume all your beer in 45mintues. Unfortunately, our friend failed at this, but we had a lot of fun watching him.
Always a pleasure popping into this bakery for one of their fablous pies or sausage rolls. The staff are always welcoming and the aroma of all those pastries, rolls and sweets really is irresistible, cannot walt passed without a purchase.
A very stylish bar with a lot of brickwork and booths for enjoying your meals and drinks. I have to say their craft beers and pizza are fabulous - be prepared to wait, best to order your pizza upon arrival because when it is busy, it can take well over an hour. Which really is too long when you are having a few drinks. We did enjoy our pizza, but not worth the wait. No apology was given, it was like you should expect to be waiting so long. It was frustrating.
Was out with friends and was feeling a bit hungry, had driven passed this cafe a few times and finally decided to check it out. Really liked the feel of this cafe, very friendly and heaps of menu choices. They offer wood fired pizza, wings, curries, fish and chips plus so much more. We shared a pizza for a starter and then tried some fabulous tasting wings, fish and chips. As much as I love a good curry, i found it strange to find it on the menu. This place has a great atmosphere, friendly staff and has plenty of seating inside and out.
Joans Pantry is in such a relaxing location, with eating areas both in and outside it makes a great place to stop for a meal. My girlfriend and I have enjoyed a few meals and coffee here, always a pleasant experience. The staff a quite friendly, always smiling. Their breafast really is something to try, always great coffee and love their hot chips.
These guys are great, they offer such a variety of delicious meals, always difficult to decide. Love their vietnamese rolls, always filled with fresh delicious ingredients. The chipotle sauce is to die for, great in wraps. A great place for a healthy lunch.
Stopped here for breakfast on our way home from Melbourne. We didn't have time to linger so we ordered some coffee and breakfast sandwiches, service was prompt our coffee and sandwiches hit the spot. Prices were very reasonable, it cost us about $26. Their lunch/dinner menu looked fabulous, would love to try one of their pizzas.
It was a day tripin Ballarat with family when we decided Pizza was required by all, my cousin recommended The Forge and we were not disappointed. I really liked the look and feel of this place, the staff were friendly and we loved the choice of pizzas available. We decided to order a few, i would have to say my favourite would be the Volcano, closing followed by Butchers. The Sure Thing was also delicious, the toppings were perfect, not overdone and the base, well no complaints. An excellent meal enjoyed by all.
My girlfriend and I enjoyed a corned beef sandwich and coffee most recently. The sandwich certainly had some interesting ingredients like sauerkraut, roasted carrots, mustard, melted cheese, it was actually quite enjoyable, just felt like something different. Would defintely order that again.
After dining at so many american joints and enjoying so many burgers, ribs, fries and buffalo wings I decided to treat my girlfriend to some special desserts. They are not everyday desserts here, they are masterpieces of art, they looked so good you didn't want to eat them, just admire them. So well presented and absolutely delicious, my girlfriend loves this dessert bar. Prices are around $24, well worth it. They also do savoury meals, we were just after dessert. The staff were attentive and friendly, will be returning on our next trip over. 10/10.
